Valerie's pov

We were now home unloading all the stuff and putting it inside

"I'm go shower, can u guys finish up?" Masons dad asked

"Yup" we all said in sync

We brought in the last bag and closed the trunk of the car

"Ima go shower too now" Miguel says

"Me too" Brooke adds, both of them leaving the room

I Turn to look at Mason and he looks at me
"Guess that's my que to leave, night mase" I said my arms behind my back, both of the ends of my mouth in a smile

"Night rie" Mason Said smiling back

I walked away but before I disappeared behind the hallway into Brooke's room I looked back and smiled at Mason one more time

This is gonna take a while to get used to

I got my pajamas out and waited for Brooke to get out the shower so meanwhile I scrolled on TikTok and came across an edit of Mason

I really did get lucky
I thought to myself

I favorited the video and continued scrolling, im so gonna regret that later. Finally after what seemed an eternity Brooke got out and I showered

After the shower

I came out and Brooke was scrolling on TikTok, I should probably tell her.. I mean that is his sister

"Hey.. Brooke?" I called out to her and sat down on the bed

"Yea?" She replied with a worried town and placed her phone down

"I have to tell you something"

"Go on"

"So Today.. you know how we were at the beach" I said slowly

"Yea?.."

"We'll when I left to the car .. Mason came up to me and we got into this argument"

"Oh no- are u guys on bad terms?" She asked worried

I shook my head no and smiled "really good terms actually"

"Elaborate" she said while raising a brow

"Pretty much he confirmed his feelings for me and I kissed him.. simple" I said shrugging it off

"WHAT Thats most definitely not simple? You are totally bluffing rn" she questioned
