Glimmer & Sophie's bio father

comment who you think their identities are and why (or disagree)! I just included some popular theories, but add your own too:)

if you've read Stellarlune already, try not to spoil it until it's officially out. Keep in mind that there are elixirs that change appearance and voice!

Glimmer (Flasher)'s identity:

First, I'll give you some things we already know (credit to the Lost Cities Wiki for all of these)-

-Long black hair
-Flasher
-Female
-Small figure
-Voice sounds like Linh
-Trusts Tam (and vice versa)
-Likely a teenager (according to vocabulary/attitude)

now, some popular theories (these are NOT what I think, these are just ones I've heard a lot)!

1) Cyrah Ednal

2) Mai Song or Linh Song- I know it isn't either of them because they have been in a room together with Glimmer, but it's still a popular theory so I thought I'd include it. Tam also knows Glimmer's identity so... keep that in mind

3) Councilor Clarrette- I think that this is pretty improbable, but you do you

4) Another councilor (comment their name and why)

5) Livvy- they have also been in a room together, but I've heard this a lot

6) Luzia- oh my gods wait this could fit???

7) Tam and Linh's secret triplet/sibling- ? uh you tell me idk bro lol

8) Elwin- ???????? ok you guys uhm I think that some of us have gone a little crazy lol

9) Eleanor Wright- see the next chapter if you don't know who she is!

10) Someone I didn't mention

Sophie's bio dad:

Some basic criteria (that is fairly loose, it does kinda depend, and credit to the Lost Cities Wiki for most of these)-

-They have/had important reasons for remaining anonymous. (Oralie's reason is that she would lose everything if anyone knew)
-Telling Sophie their identities could "topple the elvin world." Since Oralie is a Councillor, this makes sense. This may or may not fit with Sophie's other biological parent.
-They (or, at the very least, one) wish they could be a part of life.
-They know she is their daughter.
-They are an elf who may or may not be talentless (we aren't sure, but most likely they do have a special ability because Sophie's are so powerful)
-They do not strongly know each other (it couldn't be anyone than Oralie knows, like Kenric)
-They are male (Forkle uses he/him pronouns when talking about the mystery father)
-The special abilities relate to Sophie's somehow, but they don't necessarily have to be the same ability

Ok so first I'll share my opinion. Sophie abilities are Telepath, Inflictor, Polyglot, Teleporter, and Enhancer. Forkle confirmed that her dad is not an Inflictor, and Oralie covers the Enhancer part. I think that Conjurering and Teleporting are actually really similar abilities because think about it- they are the only two who have access to the void! And we know that Teleporting was unexpected and unintended on Forkle's side, so what if Sophie's dad is a Polyglot and a Conjurer?? I know that it doesn't quite fit because of how strong her Telepathy is, but it's still possible. Now for some common theories:

1) Gethen- I've heard this a lot recently, and I could definitely see it working

2) Elwin- prolly the most popular opinion. I think that this fits super well other than the fact that a. Forkle said that the parents haven't met/haven't had any meaningful connection, and b. His special ability

3) Brant- uhm you forget that uhm that would mean that Oralie and Brant technically had a child together while Jolie and Brant were dating... you do know that's messed up right

4) Kenric- I think that this is unlikely because as I said for Elwin, Forkle made sure that the bio parents didn't have a connection. It was also sorta confirmed subtly in the books that Kenric isn't her father, although it does fit ability-wise because he's a super powerful telepath

5) Bronte- but you guys, we know that he isn't her dad remember

6) Someone else
