Mother left me at a big brown door and told me to go inside.
'Aren't you coming in?' I ask even though I already know the answer.
'No I don't have time, I have to-' She paused for a moment then continued.
'I have to go before I'm late you understand right?' She didn't wait for my reply, she kissed my forehead before going to the carriage and leaving me.
I let out a loud sigh and looked back at the big brown door. And thought to myself 'Mother be back quick.'
I push the door open and step into the room. It was big and had a table close to the door with a mini chandelier hanging from the ceiling. In the far end of the room was a small bench like seat that sat on its own. I snapped out of my trance when a cold voice echoed through the room.
'Why are you here?'
A man that had pitch black hair at the table had his eyes pierced onto mine.
There were others at the table too.
'I'm um' Before I could finish a lady with ginger hair, up to her shoulders, goes to the man and whispers something in his ear. He tells her to sit back down with his eyes still fixated onto mine.
'Well?'
I gulp before replying.
'My mother had told me that I would find my uncle in here.'
He thought about this for a moment before he gave a little smirk.
'Well can you guess who in here is your uncle?'
I thought about this before replying.
'You are, are you not?'
He looked suprised so I started to doubt that I had guessed right before he said.
'How sure are you?'
I took a minute before replying.
'100 percent.'
Now everyone around the table had their eyes fixed onto me.
'How do you know that I'm your uncle?' His cold voice shattered the silence.
'Well you see mother has very light brown hair almost to a red colour and you are the only person here who has black hair and black is a more dominant gene then brown which is recessive.' I spat out all in one go.
'Well you know you stuff.' He said looking more surprised then before.
'Your right I am your uncle and I have been expecting you.'
Seriously?! He made me go through that for nothing?!
'You-'
Before I could protest he said.
'Sit on that bench over there.'
He pointed towards the back off the room. With out saying anything I did as he said and headed towards the back of the room, everyone's eyes still pierced onto me.
I through my bag to the side before sitting down.
'This is going to be fun.' I thought to myself before sinking onto the bench.
