The next day was just the usual. Waking up at 5 in the morning to go with uncle Levi.
We got to the big brown door as usual but someone was standing there.
When he saw us he came straight to uncle Levi and said.
'Captain Smith has ordered me to come and tell you that there is a meeting about, her.'
He looked at me for a few seconds before looking back at uncle Levi.
'I wasn't told about this meeting.'
Uncle Levi said much more annoyed then he looked.
The man started to walking gesturing for us to follow.
We followed behind him not knowing what was waiting for us.

When I saw the door that we were in front of, I panicked.
Isn't this the same place that uncle Levi was, tortured?
The man opened the door and lead us inside.
I was right. I dreaded the thought of ever coming back here again.
There stood the man that had us come here once before.
Erwin.
I stood there frozen. He must have seen the terror in my eyes because he started chucking to himself after looking at me.
I turned to look at uncle Levi who looked really angry, as though someone had threatened to kill him right now.
That's when Erwin's voice broke the silence.
'Well, haven't see you in at long time huh, Levi?'
Erwin said laughing to himself.
'What makes you think I wanted to see you?'
Uncle levi's expression was more angry then before.
'Well let's get straight to the point. If that girl wants to stay she will have to work.'
Erwin looked at me with a smile on his face before turning to face uncle Levi.
Uncle Levi replies.
'What if I object?'
'She will have to leave then, but I'm sure you don't want that right?'
I looked at uncle levi's face that went from calm to kill straight away.
'She will have to work as a medical staff until she's old enough to be able to kill titans, you will start tomorrow.'
With that Erwin walked away back to his desk.
We were kicked out of the room and started heading back to the big brown door.
We walked in silence until we were inside the room.
That's when uncle Levi said.
'Do you want to do as Erwin said?'
He looked at me straight in the eye.
I stood for a while thinking about what uncle Levi has asked me, before saying.
'Yes, what other choice do I have?'
He looked at me and smirked to himself.
He muttered to himself before turning around but I had still caught what he had said.
'Just like your mother.'
He went and sat down I did the same on the bench in the back of the room.

We sat in silence for what seemed like forever when we heard a scream from outside.
'Wha-.'
Before I could finish uncle Levi shot up from his chair and said.
'Stay here, I will be right back.'
With that he left shutting the door behind him.
What's going on? Why was there a scream? What were they screaming at?
Questions started filling my head and so did fear. What if it's a titan?
At that thought I froze. No I can't be, there's the walls to protect us and if it was a titan we would have head it's giant footsteps right?
I started to find reasons for why it wouldn't be a titan until some one walked in.
It was uncle Levi.
'What happened? Is it a titan!?'
Uncle Levi just looked at me with sadness in his eyes.
'Your mother-.'
'What is it! Mothers back! I have to go see her!'
With that I ran ouside and down the steps, Ignoring uncle Levi yelling my name behind me.
I saw the carriage that mother had left in days before.
I went to it before swing open the door to see...
Mother.

Emotionless.
