Levi's Daughter?

2 days ago Levi told me about the past, the days of which I wasn't born. Since then I've been thinking about what he told me, and what he told me about before, about his past.

Every night I would stay awake and think about what he told me.

Why didn't he save mother? What because of his contract? Is that really the reason why? Would something like a contract keep you from saving your own wife?

I doubt it...

The Next Morning...

Erwin told me to meet him in his office. I don't know why but he told me he would explain it later when I got there. Apparently it's important, well that's what he said anyway.

I went and stood outside his office until I heard him call:

'Come in.'

With that I stepped in and closed the door behind me.

'Well Mei, I've been meaning to tell you something but I've been quite busy lately.'
With that he looked at me and smiled.

I wasn't planning to stay here for very long so the last thing I wanted was for this conversation to last.

'Why have you called me here?'
I looked at him and I think he saw that I wasn't messing around.

'Levi had a choice.'

I looked at him.
'What? What are you talking about?'

He looked at me with a serious face.

'Levi had a choice, either he saved your mother from getting killed or he didn't. And I bet you know what he chose.'

I was frozen.

'He had a choice?'
I repeated to myself not quite believing it.

His eyes were still on me.
'That's right, but he did nothing to save your mother. Can you believe it? I mean I don't think he even loved her.'

I dropped to the floor, my knees hitting the ground first and my eyes were fixated on to the floor.

'He didn't love her?'

'Correct! That means he doesn't love you either Mei. He thinks you're troublesome and you get in the way. That's why he's so cold to you.

Tears started to form in my eyes.
'He doesn't love me either.'
...

Levi:

Mei should have finished work by now and be here, but she isn't.

Where did she go?

Think about where she would go or who she would go with.
No she doesn't talk to anybody.
There's lots of places she could be.

That's when it hit me.

Erwin!
...

Erwin:

Levi came bursting through the door, as expected, and saw Mei on the floor crying.

He went to her side quickly.
This is going to be interesting. I wonder how she's going to react.
...

Mei:

I heard the door open and saw Levi come to me.
But that wasn't going to trick me.

'LEAVE!'
I yelled at the top of my voice as more tears streamed down my face.

He stepped back and looked shocked before his gaze shot up to Erwin.

'What did you do?'
His voice echoed through the room.

Erwin looked at him for a few seconds and said.

'I told her the truth.'
With that he smirked to himself.

Anger boiled inside me.

I will make Levi pay for what he had done.

Levi will die.
