Working for the Enemy?

Silver and Daisy entered the Space Station were Knuckles stood waiting for them. "Silver thank goodness you were able to make it back safely." Silver folded his arms. "Commander what was wrong with the engine?" The echidna placed his hands behind his back as he explained. " Apparently there was an engine malfunction and the main unit exploded. "Oh no! Only someone would be super jealous and do such a thing. Oh, what a shame! It looks like you can't complete your exam now" Sonic said, smiling as he sauntered past them. "Wait, you know who did it?" Silver asked as Daisy folded her arms. "By the way you're acting, it sounds like your responsible for his plane crashing?" Sonic snickered. "My apologies Your Highness, but I've absolutely no idea what you're talking about..." The princess clenched her fist  and and was about to march toward him when Knuckles stopped her. "My apologies about him Your Highness. Pardon me for asking but aren't you supposed to be getting married today?" Daisy nodded. "I don't want to marry him in the first place besides I don't need anyone to help rule my Kingdom when I can do it all my own." The echidna placed a hand on his chin. "I see..." Soon Tails entered the room holding a tablet. "Hey Knuckles, Scourge asked  if the Master Emerald could give him a super form and will be powerful enough to threaten Daisy". He stopped in his track when he noticed the princess standing in the room. Silver narrowed his eyes and stood in between Daisy and Knuckles. "Scourge? You're working with her fiance!" Sonic scoffed. "Wow Commander, I'm surprised that  someone is actually able to take the Master Emerald from under your fingers." Knuckles ignored the hedgehog's witty remark. "Please allow me to explain" He sighed before continuing. "He actually threatened me to give it to him".
