It's Complicated- Chapter Five

It was the most gorgeous Amethyst silver necklace I've ever seen!  

I've wanted it for months but never had enough money for it. It cost so much money. I was devastated when it got taken out of the shop window. I really wish he didn't spend all that money on me though.

"It's beautiful." I was speechless. "Where'd you get it? When I looked through the shop window there was none left. How'd you pay for it?" I knew I was asking so many questions.

He took the necklace out of the box and turned me around to put it on me.

"The first time you saw it in the shops when you were with me. I knew you wanted it because you couldn't take your eyes off it. When I went in to buy it I looked at it and it reminded me a bit of those shining bright blue eyes of yours." He said.

He lent over my shoulder to kiss me cheek, but I turned my head so our lips touched.

We both pulled away when my door burst open.

My little brother Cam ran through the door yelling that dinner is nealry ready to be served.

"Caught again." I said softly.

"Yeah. Too bad, hey." Kieran replied. I laughed at his comment and took Camerons hand as he led Kieran and I downstairs to the kitchen.

The lasagne was done, and looking the best ever, if I say so myself.

I looked around to see that my sister had left. Maybe a Riley disaster again. I sat down in my seat where I was sitting before and mum brought the dish of pasta to the table. I scooped a piece out and grabbed some garlic bread and extra cheese to put on top.

I passed all the side dishes around the table and started eating. It was nice having everybody here together again.

"I would like to say something." Kieran announced. "I would like to thank the cook, Miss Anita Powell. This dish is by far my favourite of yours and it was very nice of you to invite me to stay for the meal. I would just like to make it official that Melissa and I are now in a relationship."

I smiled at him and leaned over and gave him a kiss. The bad part of the kiss, was when my dad whistled at us kissing.

My family had to be the most embarrassing, didn't they?

I whispered a thank you to him. he smiled at me and mouthed a your welcome. That means now I don't have to announce it to my whole family. Thank God.

We continued to eat the magnificent meal my mother cooked us.

When we were done, Kieran and I went back to my room and sat on my bed. I flicked on my laptop and opened up Facebook for Kieran to log in since he didn't have a phone that connects to the internet.

He laid down so he was facing me and I had my back against the bedhead.

I got my phone out and logged on to see a notification from Kieran saying to update my relationship status. I tapped the accept button and leaned over to kiss him but on my way my arms collapsed nd I rolled off my bed onto the floor. I laughed so hard I swear I was going to make abs come out of my skinny torso.

Kieran peaked over the side of my bed to talk to me. Instead he shook his head at me like he wasn't surprised.

"How come you're on the floor?"

"I went in to kiss you but I fell" I said through giggles.

He smiled and got off the bed. He went to lay on me but stopped in a push up position.

He lent down and said, "You might want to meet me half way unless you want me whole body weight on you."

I propped myself up onto my elbows reaching my head up to meet his.

"I really missed you when you were gone. I didn't know how I would live without my new boyfriend" I said flicking my eyes back and forth between his beautiful hazel eyes and full lips.

"I love it when you call me your boyfriend." He said kissing me.

He leaned away and got up and sat on my bed. I got up and sat next to him.

"I'm going to see Talia tomorrow, did you want to come?" Talia was my other best friend, besides Kieran.

"How about I let you two girls have a catch up time and I'll spend my day with my family."

"Sounds good to me." I said. "Did you want to stay here for the night? I've still got some of your tracksuit pants."

"Of course you still have my trackies."He said as matter of fact.

"Hey, they were comfortable!" I argued.

"I know they are. That's why I bought them." He pulled me into his arms for a hug. His big arms were comforting and warm. "Sure, I'll stay for you."

We slept through the night well.

I suddenly woke to an arm on my face. Geez. Who knew somebody who's so comfortable with people but night comes and they're so fidgety.

I woke up and Kieran wasn't next to me so I went to the bathroom to see if the shower but the shower wasn't on.

I went downstairs and then realised he would have went back to his house to spend time with his family.

I went to my room and grabbed my phone.

I saw a message from Kieran saying that was where he was and he was sorry for leaving without saying goodbye.
