On our ride back home, I was busy making a phone call while looking at my nails.

"Did you see the check sent to your account? Mhm. Then I expect this move will happen in 3 days?"

I glanced over at Satoru as he took my hand to play with my fingers.

In response, he smiled brightly at me and brought his lips to kiss it.

"Uh huh. Very well. Thank you." I ended the call and handed him my phone to put away.

"I suspect everything went well?" Ijichi glanced back from his rear mirror.

"Very," I smiled. "They're going to finalize the paperwork and will email us in 3 days once they're finished. Then we should have no problem moving in."

"Great work, my love!" Satoru happily grinned and leaned in for a kiss until I squished his cheeks

"Whatever. You're going to gross me out with all this affection." I gently pushed him aside.

"What?" Gojo pouted, "But you love it when I shower you with kisses and--"

"Enough!" I coughed aloud, embarrassed as Ijichi chuckled.

"Would you like me to take you two home or back to the school?" Ijichi asked and I gave him a grateful smile.

"Home, please."

"As Her Majesty commands, Ijichi!" Satoru beams as he pulled an arm around my shoulder.

After some time, we arrived home and said our farewells to Ijichi before heading inside.

"Honey?"

"Yes?"

Satoru walked into the kitchen, only to be bewildered as I stood next to the fridge on the brink of tears.

"Awe, baby, what's wrong?" Satoru chuckled as he approached me with open arms.

"We ran out of pickles..."

"Gross" He laughed. "If it makes you happy, I'll give Ijichi a quick call to buy some for you. Happy?"

"Mhm."

"Do you at least want to munch on something else while we wait? Like a carrot or something?"

"Why?" I frowned, "Are you telling me to change my cravings?"

"What? No, babe, that's not what I--"

"I am carrying your children!" I rose my voice. "How dare you tell me to change my cravings!"

"Baby, please," Satoru caught my hands as I tried to swing them at him.

"Yes, Gojo?"

"Let go, you pervert!"

"..."

"But I'm your husband!"

"Why are you yelling at me?!"

"Ijichi, could you do me a favor and quickly stop by the grocery store to buy some pickles for Y/n?"

"Sure thing."

"You're a lifesaver..."

"Hmph."

I sat on the other side of the couch, arms crossed as Satoru let out a deep sigh from across the room.

Looking back at me, he slowly walked over and sat beside me.

"I'm sorry. Do you want me to make you a snack?"

"I just want my pickles--..."

However, Satoru smirked at me, obviously signaling to me that he meant something else.

"Ugh! You're disgusting!"

After half an hour of bickering, Ijichi dropped off the pickles, along with a pregnancy survival kit for Satoru and me.

"Who knew pregnancy could be this..."

"Troublesome?" I took a bite of my pickle. "Irritating?"

"Fascinating," My husband soothingly says.

I stared at him for a moment, still chewing on my pickle before leaning in for a bite of Satoru's ice cream.

"That's actually a pretty good combo! Can I have it, babe?"

"Right... Pregnancy cravings..." Satoru wrinkled his nose in disgust, reluctantly handing over his ice cream.

"Mhm!" My eyes widen as I pointed my pickle at him, "Which reminds me, I enrolled us in some parental classes. Our first class is in a couple of days."

"Why do we even need a class?"

"Do I really need to answer that question?"

Satoru brought both arms up defeat, "All right, all right. No need to use your pickle against me."

I narrowed my eyes and slowly took another bite.

For the remaining time of the day, Satoru and I remained on the couch, laughing, enjoying each other's company, and dancing.

"See? Just like old times, hmm?" Satoru hummed, holding me close to him as we swayed to the music.

"You mean when you made us dance while on our first mission?" I smirked up at him as he rose my arm to twirl me around before dipping me.

"You know what I mean, baby." Satoru winked at me before pulling me back up. "Only this time I have you all to myself."

"God, you're so cheesy." I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Satoru!" I swung my katana before turning to the white-haired boy. "Be useful will you?!"

But he was busily scrolling through his phone until the music started playing.

"Hold on! I gotta set the mood first!"

"Why is he so naive..."

Once I finished off the cursed spirit I was handling, I made my way toward him as he settled his phone next to a speaker.

"C'mon let's have some fun, shall we?"

"Look, Satoru, I'm just trying to get this over with, all right? I don't want to join--"

"Here," Satoru reached for my hand, placing it over his neck as the other intertwined with his.

My eyes widened at his touch, feeling my cheeks and ears rising in temperature as I realized how close our bodies were.

And that feeling...

I wanted to ignore it.

"If you're thinking of doing anything... I will end you."

"Not a problem with me." He chuckled at me and placed his other hand on my waist. "Just relax and follow my moves."

I reluctantly followed his movements as we strode down the path. And obviously, I stumbled here and there.

"C'mon, you got to loosen up a bit." Satoru smiled down at me as he twirled me back into his embrace.

But after a few words of encouragement, Satoru and I began dancing to the rhythm.

And never have I ever thought this was one way to get the job done.

Once we finished, Satoru picked me up and twirled us around.

And for the first time in a while, I felt as if all my worries disappeared.

Laughing, I spread my arms out, enjoying the breeze before he placed me back down.

"Not too bad, eh?" Satoru chuckled.

Adjusting my katana, I awkwardly cleared my throat.

"Yeah. Sure..."
