Chapter 3 *****Edited*****
On the first of September, I woke up bright and early and I was filled with excitement. I would go to Hogwarts today and I couldn't wait. I've already read all of my school books and all of the extra books I had bought along with most of Uncle's book and I couldn't wait to start learning how to make potions and do the spells and charms. I had also found a book on Animagus and I was going to ask the transfiguration professor about how difficult it was to become one and depending on it maybe go about doing it myself to help Uncle.
I had read a book about werewolves and I had learned that a werewolf is much like a wolf in the aspect that they run in packs and often relate to other animals as their own pack. I had the idea that if I were an Animagus that I could help Uncle on the full moon to stop him from hurting himself. I also read about a potion that he could take around the full moon that would make his transformation less painful and safer for himself and those around him. The problem though was that the ingredients were costly and for Uncle he couldn't afford them himself and I knew that he wouldn't use my money to make the potion for himself so that would mean that I would have to buy them myself for him to make, but first I would have to talk to him about it but I first wanted to talk to the potions professor at Hogwarts about the potion and find out how difficult it was because Uncle told me he was rubbish when it came to making potions.
I had all of my things already packed and after I dressed I checked around my bedroom to make sure I had all of my things one last time just to be sure. I had all of my picture books, all of my school books and extra books and everything else I thought I would need or may need. I had all of my school robes, night clothes and everything else I would need packed away in my trunk. Toast, Peanut, and Jelly were all in their cages on my trunk and now all I had to do was wait for Hagrid and get to the train that left at eleven.
Soon enough Hagrid showed up with Harry and we left for Kings Cross station. All of the Muggles, as the wizarding world called them kept looking at the three of us but honestly, I couldn't blame them because it wasn't every day you saw a giant with two kids that had owls walking around London. "What're you looking at?" Hagrid asked the staring people as they passed and I giggled and they quickly looked away as Hagrid looked at his pocket watch before he looked down at the two of us. "Blimey, is that the time? Sorry, Harry, Gemini I'm gonna have to leave you. Now, your train leaves in ten minutes here are your tickets. Stick to it, Harry, Gemini that's very important. Stick to your tickets." He handed us our tickets and both of us looked at our ticked and I grew confused.
Platform nine and three quarters? "Platform nine and three quarters?" Harry asked for the both of us. "But Hagrid, there must be a mistake. This says platform nine and three quarters. There's no such thing...is there?" Both of us looked up to see that Hagrid was gone and we looked at each other. "Is there?" I shrugged my shoulders and looked around.
"Come on, let's start by getting to nine and ten and maybe asking someone." Harry nodded his head and both of us pushed our trolley's towards platforms nine and ten before I saw a trainmaster and I decided to ask him for help. "Sir, can you tell me where I might find platform nine and three quarters?" He glares at me asking me if I thought I was funny before walking away from me. "Bloody git."
I heard someone talking about Muggles and about the platform that we were looking for and I look at Harry beside me. "Let's follow them." He said and I nod my head to his words and together we followed the family of red heads.
I was amazed how a tall boy that I think the woman called Percy ran at the wall and instead of hitting it he ran through it and disappeared. The woman then asked one of two identical twins to go and the twins joked with their mother before they too disappeared. I nudged Harry and we approached the woman and he asked how to get onto the platform and she smiled kindly asking if it was our first time and we nodded our heads and she said that it was Ron's as well. She then said all we had to do was go right at the wall between platforms nine and ten and do it at a bit of a run if we're nervous.
