I woke up and rolled over. I never did much in the summer. I got up and rubbed my eyes. I decided to tan some today. I basically could do whatever I wanted. My parents are always away. My brother and his friend went away for most of the summer. I slipped on my bikini. I grabbed my phone and headed outside. I laid on one of the pool chairs. I listened to the quietness. Next thing I know cold water was splashed all over me. I shoot up. There was my brother jake and Jarred his best friend. "Jake",I said getting up to hug him. "I missed you Rachel",he said hugging me tighter. I pulled away. "Jarred why did you poor water on me really"?! I knew it was him cause he was always a jerk to me. "Well I'm going Un pack",jake said. "Ok". I jumped in the pool. "So this summer what have you been up to"? "Hanging out with Evan most of the time going to the beach parties the normal I guess". "Cool well I'm gonna go unpack". Jarred Basically lived with us. He barely went home. I got out and went inside. I took a shower. I got out and put on some shorts and a baggie t shirt. I called Evan.
"Hello Rachel".
"Hey wanna come over and watch some movies"?
"Of course I'll be there soon".
"Ok bye".
"Bye".
I put down my phone and went down stairs. "Jake Evans coming over",I said. "Ok". My brother is really protective he only trust certain people. It is really annoying sometimes but whatever. I pulled out some movies. "Hey Rach",Evan called out. I ran and jumped on him hugging him tight. I jumped down off of him. "Ah I forgot snacks",Evan said. "I can't believe you my best friend forgot the snacks you should be ashamed of yourself". "Alright miss drama queen". We laughed. "We can run out and get some",I smiled. "Alright". "Let me go change". I ran upstairs and slipped on some sweats I put on my vans. "Where you going"? I looked up and jarred was leaning on the door way. "Me and Evan are gonna run to the store to get some snacks". "Oh can you get me some sour patch kids"? "Why should i bring you something every time I ask you to do stuff for me you don't",I scoffed. He sighed. "I'm sorry". Did he just apologize he is not like that at all. "Uh thanks well I should head",I said. "Alright". He stepped aside. I grabbed my wallet. I walked down stairs. "Let's go Evan"! He got up and we got in his car. We turned on the music full blast. Screaming every word. He hit a very high note. "Damn Evan". We laughed. We pulled up at Walmart. We got out and headed inside. We got a cart. We headed to the junk food aisle. We got some nutty bars, chips, ice cream, candy, and some soda. "Evan"? "Mhm". "Do you think Jarred would ever become nicer"? "I don't know he has always been the one to pull pranks and joke it's possible but who knows why"? "Just wondering". "Wanna grab some pizza"! "Yes"! We went to dominoes. We got our pizza and headed to my house.
"We're back"! We walked upstairs. "We brought pizza". Jake ran into the kitchen. Jarred walked in after him. "Slow down jake it is just pizza",I said. "Just pizza you have to be kidding me just pizza",he shook his head. "Grow up jake God",I laughed. "I'm just kidding". We got our pizza and went into the living room and put in a movie.
Evan left and jake went to bed. "Here",I said handing him a pack of sour patch kids. He chuckled. He sat next to me. He opened them up handing me one. This is the kind Jarred I would love to always see. But I know he won't.
