Halloween: Returns

Chapter 8

Jamie stayed home from work today because she did not want to be out of her house on Halloween, especially that Michael is on the loose. She was sitting in the living room drinking a glass of wine and watching some scary movies. She thinks back to the day that Tina died. She starts to cry because she knows her daughter is out there with a killer on the loose. She called Emily as she hung up instantly. Jamie sighs and continues to watch the movie.
    It's completely dark outside in Haddonfield, the sounds of kids trick or treating and the wind with the leaves scraping the road fill up the night. Michael walks around the area with his knife in one hand. This kid accidentally bumps into Michael and Michael takes his knife and stabs him in the chest.
Justin slowly gets out of his hiding spot because Michael is gone for now. He walks his way back to his house with a little limp from when Michael sliced his leg. He walks into his house and called 911 on his phone. "911 what's your emergency?" The operator said. "Can you please send someone to 53 cherry blossom lane in Haddonfield? Michael Myers just attacked me and I need you guys to find him." Justin said. "I'm sorry but we can't just find Michael if he ran off." The operator said. "Yes you can!! You can at least get your guns and find him!! Please!!" Justin said. "I'm sorry, we can't... we can send someone there to help you if you got attacked but that's it." She said. "Ugh whatever." He said hanging up the phone and rolling his eyes. What am i gonna do now? He asked himself. Justin then called Emily. She picked up. "Hey Justin!! What's up? Is your power back on?" She asked. "I just got attacked by Michael... I got away tho. I'm at my house right now. I don't know what to do." He said. "Oh god... calm down, we will figure this out, I guess you can come over Ariana's house. I'm with her right now." She said "Uh... you sure. He could be following me and if he is he is going to come over there and I don't want to rink your lives." He said. "It's fine. We can get prepared if anything happens." She said. "Okay I'll be there in 15 minutes." He said grabbing his important stuff and getting in his car. He drives to Ariana's house as he shuts the car off. He got out and knocked on the door. "Heyy Justin!! Come in." Ariana said answering the door. Justin walked in with a blank expression on his face. You could tell he just got attacked. "Woah Justin you don't look well. How about I get you some water." Emily said getting up and getting him some water. "I was so scared. He almost killed me." Justin said to Ariana as she put a hand on his shoulder. "Hey. Your lucky you got away, and now your here with us. We promise we will not let anything happen to you. Okay?" Ariana said. "Yeah, thank you." Justin said smiling as Emily came back with water. "Drink this." She said. "I guess no carnival tonight." Ariana said. "Yeah I guess not, i'm sorry Ari but I wasn't feeling safe to go anyways." Emily said. "Yeah." She said
          Jamie left her house to go to Spirit Halloween. She got out of her car and walked into the store. She was there to get a costume. A very specific one. She walked up to the counter "Hey. Do you know where clown costumes would be?" She asked. "Yes, all the way in the back right. We are closing in 5 minutes so hurry up." He said. She walked to the back and there it was, the exact clown costume she wore 34 years ago when she survived Michael with Rachel. She smiled knowing she is going to kick Michael's ass in this costume. She grabs the costume and tries it on. It fits perfectly. She keeps the costume on because she is just going to go up to the costume and pay for it anyway. The store lights start to shut as they lock the gate, forgetting Jamie was the only person in there. The gate shut and locked at the lights turned off and the staff left. "Excuse me!!" She said maybe thinking they would hear her but they didn't. Shit she thought to herself. She herd a noise, like something was walking. She turned around and no one was there. Then she herd the noise again and saw Michael for the first time in 33 years. Her eyes go wide, he doesn't see her so she hides in one of the isles. Michael breaths heavily knowing Jamie is there. Michael works his way towards the isle that Jamie is in. She then moves slowly to the next isle as Michael looks down the isle she was just in. She tried not to make a sound. She then grabs the fake Ax that the store has. Michael then looks down the isle that Jamie is in but she's gone. She's now hiding behind the register. Michale works his way through the store and almost looks around the register as Jamie pops out and screams as she hits him with the fake ax. It does nothing to Michael. He then slices her arm and then Jamie takes the cash register off the table and bangs Michael in the head with it. It hurt Michael. It made him grunt and it got him to the ground for a second. She then tries to open the gate but she can't. She finds an emergency button by the door and hits it as the gate opens. Michael sits up like he usually does and starts to walk towards Jamie. Jamie then turns around as Michael stabs Jamie's side. She screams in pain as Jamie then shoots Michael 4 times with the gun she brang with her. He is knocked out... for now as she escapes the store and runs out into her car. Thankfully her car starts and she drives away in her clown costume.
