Halloween: Returns

Chapter 10

Ariana and Justin were still at her house watching scary movies with each other. "I hope Em is okay." Ariana said. "Of course she's okay, she's with her mom. She's a total badass." Justin said, laughing a bit. "Yeah I guess she is, isn't she?" She laughed a bit too." I'm going to go to the store and buy us some candy for us to enjoy this movie with," Ariana said. "Oh, I don't think it's safe to just go out there like that." Justin said to Ariana as she rolled her eyes. "It's fine, what's the worst that can happen? Michael is going to pop up in my back seat?" Ariana said laughing. "Listen I'll be right back Justin... don't get too scared alone." She said, teasing him. Justin rolls his eyes. "Hurry up Ariana. Be careful," He said as she left the house and closed the door. She gets into her car as she turns it on the radio and starts playing 'Don't feel the reaper.' Ariana heard a noise in the backseat but before she could turn around Michael popped up behind her and started to choke her as she was choking. She tried unlocking the door but she couldn't, Michaels strength was too much. Michael continues to choke her until she can no longer breathe as he lets go of her neck and her head goes limp in the backseat. Justin does not even realize that his friend is dead in her car outside her house.
        She walked around her house and made her some warm coffee. She sat down at the kitchen table and sighed, not believing that Michael is back to life. She then read a newspaper while drinking her coffee. It was Marion Chambers, the 73 year old who lived in a tiny well kept house in Haddonfield. She still studies Michael a bit, she knows a lot about him. Marion knew Michael would come back, she just didn't know when, but now she knows. Marion walked into her living room. She thought of Dr. Loomis and when he passed away of old age. She was very close friends with him. Marion took out her phone and dialed Jamie's number. Jamie looked at her phone and picked it up. "Hello? Who is this?" Jamie asked. "Hey Marion Chambers. Dr. Loomis told me about you, I know Michael is after you and I want to help you stay safe or fight this demon." Marion said to Jamie. "Oh... hey Marion. Oh my god, Dr. Loomis... I remember him. He helped me out both years when I got attacked." Jamie said thinking back to those days. "I know it's tough knowing that Michael is back but you're a strong girl Jamie, you got this." Marion said smiling. "Thank you Marion," Jamie said smiling. "Of course... well I have to go now, bye Jamie." Marion said. "Bye." Jamie said as Marion hung up. Marion then went upstairs and opened her gun cabinet. I'm going to get this fucker Marion thought to herself. She then grabbed a gun knowing that if she dies, she is not going to go down without a fight.
        Emily paced around the house. "I'm so worried mom," She said to Jamie. "I know. Me too. But we are Lloyd's, we will get this done once and for all." Jamie said. Emily smiled, "I guess so." She said, grabbing the bag of candy corn. "Want some?" Emily asked Jamie. "Yeah sure." Jamie said, taking some from the bag.
        Michael continues to walk around Haddonfield. He is ready to go for Jamie again. He knows exactly where Jamie lives, he just doesn't want to go there just yet. First he wanted another victim. He walked up to Marion's house. Slowly lerking behind a tree in her yard. Marion left the door open for Michael on purpose. There was no car in the driveway and the lights were off. Michael then walks up to her door and opens it. He thinks that maybe no one is home but he walks in anyway. His breathing was heavy as he walked into her living room. Marion was hiding upstairs in her room, she was hiding in her closet. Michael checks the living room and finds no one. He then moved onto the kitchen, he looked in there and still nothing. He works his way up the stairs slowly as Marion tries not to make a sound, even with her breath. Michael then walks in the guest room and checks under the bed and in the closet. Then he moves to her room. She checks under the bed as Marion can see him by looking out of the closet. Michael slowly works his way towards the closet heavy breathing as BAM her microwave goes off tricking him he walks back to check the noise down said so he works his way to the top of the stairs ready to walk down as Marion comes out of her closet. "Hey Michael!!" She screams. Michael then turns around and sees Marion. "This is for Dr. Loomis." She said as she shot 5 bullets in Michael's body sending him rolling the stairs. Marion works her way down the stairs as she points the gun to Michaels head and hits the trigger as no bullets come out "shoot." She said worried as her eyes widened, Michael sat up as Marion ran to the kitchen and hit Michael in the face with a kitchen chair as Michael stumbles back a bit then he continues to walk towards her, Marion moves back as Michael corners her and stabs her in the stomach. Marion then fell to the ground lying there. Dead.
