Halloween: Returns

Chapter 12

Justin was sitting in the kitchen of his house. He took out his phone and called Ariana. It went straight to voicemail. He left a message for her. "Ariana, where are you? Is everything alright? Just give me a call back when possible. I hope you're okay." He said worried. He hangs up and walks to the front door and looks out the window and finds Ariana's car still there. He stepped outside, "Ariana? Why are you still here?" He asked as silence filled the air except for crickets and Justin's voice. "Ariana come on, stop playing tricks with me." He said slowly walking over to the car, he opened the car door and the lights in the front seat turned on and he saw Ariana's dead body in the driver's seat, her head was down. He pushes her head up and sees a big bruise on her neck. He screamed. "Ariana!!! No!'" He said starting to cry, that was his best friend. He starts to cry and runs into the house and shuts and locks the door. He thought to himself that he didn't have time to cry, he needed to stay inside in case Michael came back to his house. Justin wiped his tears. He sat on the floor, depressed that his best friend was dead.
        Emily was at her house waiting for her mom to come back from the hospital, even though she had a gun and the fighting skills she still was kinda worried if Michael came to the house. She suddenly got a call, it was Justin. She picked up, "Hey Justin, everything okay?" She asked. "No... I went outside to see where Ari was and she was dead in her car, it looked like she was strangled to death," Justin said, tearing a bit. "Oh my god... that horrible, I'm so sorry Justin." Emily said. "I'm sorry to you too... she was your best friend too," Justin said. "Yeah, she was." She said sadly. "Justin, are you in your house?" She asked. "Yeah." He responded. "Good, stay in your house and don't leave. Michael must be nearby." She said, "I'm home alone too, mom went to the hospital to see this girl named Marion. I don't know who she is but apparently she survived Michael." She said, "Oh, well stay safe Em, I'm going to go now," Justin said. "Okay. Bye Justin." She said smiling. "Bye," Justin said, hanging up. Emily sighed knowing Michael is either coming for her best friend, her mom or her. She grabbed the gun and loaded it with bullets.
        It was 30 minutes since Jamie had been gone, she got side tracked to call Emily. "I'm really scared if Michael comes back for me now," Jamie said. "You're strong, you will be fine Jamie," Marion said. Jamie smiled. "Listen, if something ever happens to me tonight, I just wanted to let you know, thank you. For checking up on me." She said smiling. "Anytime, but nothing will happen to you tonight." Marion said smiling. "You never know," Jamie said.
        Michael continues to walk the streets of Haddonfield on his way to Emily's house, he continues to walk as he gets closer. He shows up at Emily's house and stares at her through the window, he breathes heavy and gets his knife ready for her blood.
