Chapter 13

Emily goes to the kitchen and cooks herself some popcorn to watch a scary movie to wait for Jamie to come home. Michael watches her make the popcorn close to the window now. She finishes her popcorn and goes to the couch and sits down. Let's watch some scary movies to keep me busy, she thinks to herself. She turns on the tv and starts to play Nightmare On Elm Street. She eats her popcorn as she hears 3 knocks on the door. She turns the movie off and checks to see who it was. No one was there. She opened the door and looked on the porch but no one was there. She was a little confused so she looked around and saw Michael staring at her from across the street. Her eyes go wide as she hurries and shuts the door locking all 4 locks. She doesn't bother calling the cops because she knows they are not going to do anything or they are probably all dead. Emily hides in the little spot behind the tv as Michael breaks the glass to the door and unlocks all 4 locks. Emily tries not to cry or make a sound so she covers her mouth. Michael walks into the kitchen and does not see anything so he then walks into the dining room as it was silent in the house, all Emily could hear is Michael's footsteps and breathing. Emily stays super quiet as Michael doesn't find anyone so he moves onto the living room, the room that Emily is in. She tries not to make a sound.
Meanwhile at HMH Jamie grabbed her bag ready to go back home to Emily. "I'm sorry Marion, I have to go back home to my daughter," Jamie said. "Oh that's fine. Thanks for visiting." Marion said. "Of course," Jamie said smiling as she gave Marion a gun. "Take this, just in case something happens or Michael comes to the hospital," Jamie said as Marion took it out of her hand, "Thank you Jamie, now go back home, your daughter needs you," Marion said smiling. "Bye Marion," Jamie said. "Bye," Marion said as Jamie left the hospital room she walked towards the front door, but all of a sudden the staff of the hospital locked the doors. "Excuse me, I need to go home to my daughter!!" Jamie said. "I'm sorry ma'am you're going to have to stay here, Haddonfield is on lockdown and if I don't lock these doors we can get in real trouble. Jamie rolls her eyes. "Everyone stay in the hospital and hide somewhere!!" He yelled. Jamie ran and hid in Marion's room. She shut and locked the door. "What happened? Why are you not home with your daughter?" Marion asked. "The whole town is on lockdown and I'm not allowed to leave," Jamie said worried for her daughter. I have to call her right now, I need to see if she's okay." Jamie said, taking out her phone.
