I Wonder

Chapter 9

A few days had passed.

Agnetha had still fever and it wasn't getting better quiet the opposite. It went worse.

Agnetha was barely eating anything.

That day Frida was with Agnetha just like the past days.

When she went to check on Agnetha reacted that not really to her presence what concerned Frida extremely.

The only thing Agnetha was saying apart from what she was saying during one of her many nightmares was Björns name.

She was requesting him the whole time when she was awake.

At first Frida ignored it completely but realizing that nothing was helping her best friend made her think if she should call him.

Would Agnetha want this? 

But when her subconscious wanted to see him it might help her.

In the end Frida only wanted to help Agnetha.

Maybe it was a bad idea. 

Maybe she would regret it later but she was running out of ideas.

Calling Björn was her last straw.

Probably it would help Agnetha.

While Frida was thinking if calling Björn would be a good or bad idea Björn was sitting in his house in front of the TV. 

Lena was sitting next to him but he refused to cuddle with her. In the past few days his mind was constantly circling about what Bitte had told him about Agnetha.

He had called Bitte a few times. Everything she told him was that Frida had asked her to take care of the children because Agnetha was ill and Frida wanted to take care of her by herself.

While he was sitting there, pretending to watch the movie - actually he couldn't stop thinking about Agnetha - the phone started ringing.

"Stay here, I'll see how it is.", told he Lena before he left the room.

"Björn Ulvaeus.", answered Björn the call.

"Hej Björn it's Frida.", sounded Fridas voice on the other side of the line.

"Oh, hej Frida. I wasn't expecting you.", said Björn surprised by the fact that Frida was calling him.

"And I wans't expecting myself to call you.", Björn could her the sarcasm in her voice. "Listen Björn, I wouldn't call if I had another..."

"How's Anna?", he cut her of in the middle of her sentence. The most important thing for him was in that moment to know that his beloved Agnetha was well.

"I was about to say that and when you don't interrupt me I can tell you why I call. Agnetha wasn't very well since her breakdown in the studio. She is having high fever for a few days now and I'm running out of ideas what I can do to help her. Nothing is working and she refuses to see a doctor. She is saying hardly anything except your name. It's clear that she needs you now more than ever.", finished Frida.

"How bad is it?", was everything Björn wanted to know.

"Almost 40°C", replied Frida curtly. (Again was Google helping me with Fahrenheit: 104°F)

"I'll be over in quarter an hour."

"Good I'll be waiting for you."

After hanging up Björn went back into the living room where Lena was still sitting in front of the TV.

"Lena, I'm going out."

"Wait, where are you going? And who was that on the phone?", why does this woman has to be so curious about everything?

Instead of saying: "It's none of your business." what he was thinking, answered Björn with: "Benny called. He said he was having a good idea for a song and wanted to talk with me about it."

With that being said Björn left his house without saying goodbye to Lena and headed towards Agnetha's new home.
