Chapter 14

When Frida woke up the next morning was Agnetha still asleep. After look at the alarm clock on the nightstand realized she that it were almost two hours till they had to meet the others.

After Frida had taken a shower and got dressed she decided to wake Agnetha.

She carefully shook the sleeping beauty: "Agnetha, it's time to stand up."

"No, let me sleep.", answered Agnetha in a sleepy voice.

"You have to get up. The Interview is set for twelve o'clock.", tried Frida her best. She knew that it was sometimes hard to stand up when you are depressed so she tried her best to have Agnetha in a good mood: "How are you?"

"Baby and I are fine.", answered Agnetha still half asleep.

"Baby? What do you mean?", Frida was too confused to be shocked.

"Linda will be happy to have a small sibling.", was everything Agnetha replied.

"You mean another baby? How? When? Is it Björn's?", Frida was still very confused and understood nothing.

"What?", Agnetha seems to be confused too.

"You said when I asked you how you are: 'Baby and I are fine.'.", it might be impossible but Frida was more confused than before.

"Sorry, I was having a dream. 1977, Australia, I was pregnant back then and Björn used to ask me every morning how I was feeling.", replied Agnetha in a wistful voice.

"That explains everything. But now you have to come back to reality: Thursday, 15th February 1979, we are having a press conference in four hours. You need to get ready.", Frida was suddenly pulling Agnetha out of her dreamworld back into reality. "To come back to my question: 'How are you?'."

"Good, very good when you compare it to the past weeks. I've had no nightmare. I've slept the whole night. Thank you."

"That's good. But you have to get now ready.", killed Frida the good spirits.

While Agnetha was in the en suite bathroom, got Frida a call from Benny:

"Are you girls ready or still doing your stuff?", asked Benny on the other end of the line.

"You need clothing, right?"

"Yes, Björn borrowed me something for the night but I don't want to wear yesterdays clothing."

"Fine, you can come over but Agnetha is right now in the bathroom so you can't get things from there."

"Alright."

After another hour entered Benny and Frida the lobby. Agnetha had gone to her hotel room to call Linda and Christian before they had to work.

"Where's Agnetha?", asked Björn when he saw Frida and Benny enter instead of greeting them.

"Good morning. I've slept also well, thank's for your request.", Frida knew exactly how to drive Björn crazy.

"Good, and how about Agnetha?", asked Björn impatient.

"She is doing what you should do too.", was everything Frida replied.

"What? She is supposed to be down here.", answered Björn totally confused.

"That's probably her job as an singer but I might remember you that you have small children at home and she is doing what every caring mother does in this situation: calling her children.", seeing Björns blankly face made both, Benny and Frida laugh.

"I see."

In that moment entered a in comparison to the past weeks well looking Agnetha the lobby.

"How are the children?", now was it Agnetha's turn to make a blank face. She didn't expected Björn to ask about the children. She looked a bit confused to Frida.

"Frida already confused him. He knows that you called them.", explained Benny.

"Their fine but miss us. You should phone them later."

"I'll look when I have the time to call them.", replied Björn.

"That was no suggestion that was an order. ", answered Agnetha. From her good mood was nothing left.

"But...", started Björn to defend himself.

"No but's. You never cared about them. That ruined our marriage! I thought you learned from that, but no, you keep making the same mistakes. What should happen before you realize that you are making the wrong priorities. They need you. Like I did. But you never realized."

"Could you two please stop arguing. I thought that would be over when you divorce.", interrupted Stig them.

"I don't care what you think. This is our thing. It's none of your business and I don't care what you want us to do, because I have other things in my life than just you'r damn promo junk!", Agnetha's screaming made everyone near turn to them and see what happens.

"Aggie, please calm down.", tried Frida to stop her.

"No, I will calm down when I want to and I don't want to!"

"Anna, don't make it worse.", Björn spoke again.

"Shut up!", Agnetha was now ultimately loosing her temper.

"It's enough.", Benny grabbed her from behind and hold her back.

She tried to escape his arms but failed.

"I know it's hard for you but you need to calm down now." started Benny. Her breathing calmed slowly in his arms down.

Björn stood beside being jealous. Why was Benny able to do what he and Frida couldn't?

Stig wanted to say something but Frida made it with a hand gesture clear that he should better say nothing.

Benny hugged her until she had completely calmed down. After he loosed his hug, he dried her tears with his fingers: "Better little one?"

Agnetha only nodded.

"How about breakfast now? You must be starving."

Again nodded Agnetha just though she was not hungry. Due to that she only ate a little bit and stared listless into space.

Even though Björn knew it might be a bad idea to speak to her asked he: "Is everything alright?", beaches e he was once more concerned about Agnetha. In the past weeks she was listless about everything and he knew this couldn't go on long but he had the feeling that there was no end in sight.

"Mhm.", replied Agnetha. It seemed to Björn that she hadn't even heard his question but he didn't dared to ask because she still seemed very tense.

After the breakfast they were having a press conference. (Actually was the press conference at  14th but that would be to much for a day - I wonder how they managed that - but let's ignore that. This is a fanfic, so much isn't real.)

"Are you ready?", asked Agnetha who was just sitting there emotionally getting ready for private question she knew where going to be asked.

"Not really but I don't have a choice.", answered Agnetha.

Shortly afterwards started the interview.

The first question was for sure about Agnetha and Björns divorce. Björn answered simply with: "For ABBA as a group there is absolutely no need to worry. Our divorce was only for personal reasons. Agnetha and I just couldn't live together anymore, even though we tried everything. The divorce was inevitable. Agnetha and I will still be good friends, which everyone can see.", while saying this, he gave her a meaningful look. 

The next question was about a reputed affair from Agnetha which was in this idea the reason for their break up. Agnetha explained that she was just meeting that man secretly because she didn't want the press to find out about the fact that she was seeing a psychologist.

After the interview were the four of them just spending some time with the other famous guest and went outside in the snow.

In the afternoon was another clip filmed. In this one they were sitting in a restaurant singing Chiquitita.
