Chapter 4

It panned to the News report

that the symbiote was stolen  and the last student who claimed to have been the last one in the lab ensured that

he had the door locked to the secure room according to the records his statement was backed up by no word from the professor involved in his project  and he is now the prime suspect of the dangerous alien specie theft

but the investigation of theft is still going  more news will come later

Meanwhile Ned

Ned Chewed the sub he had picked in peters apartment in the kitchen as he watched the news report in his house

since Ferguson paid peter for his job which is why he was able to still have his apartment and for his  rent  

and Michelle's parents support him by mailing him money for his hard work doing his chores at their house since its the least they could do for him

it had been serval days since it's been stolen and no sign of it

Peter and Ned were cleared  all their cleared data was taken part in the investigation

but Ned had backup from his flash drive  in his house which was in his  room

until Peter scared him as he climbed out of his window saying do you think Ferguson was the one who stole it

Peter What The Fuck Ned said as he jumped from his seat clutching his chest

Peter was leaning against the kitchen counter with his spiderman suit and his mask off

Peters's eyebrow lifted in confusion at Ned

where the hell did you come from Ned said

Peter pointed at the window outside his apartment with an annoyed face

why did you come through the front door Ned asked

Peter opened his arms indicating his suit as he made his way to his fridge

he then opened the fridge to pull out his sliced turkey cheese pickles spinach mayo and mustard and turned to see it all in the kitchen

  he then webbed the fridge to close

what about the change of clothes you keep on the roof Ned said

pigeons have marked their territory on it therefore the window Peter said '

Ned sat back down on the stool

so did you find anything on Ferguson Ned said

Peter shook his head with his damp curls shaking against his forehead

his apartment has been cleaned out since it was a mess 

these two bad guys were beating the crap out of the guy just outside his window Peter said

that's how I got this Peter said as he pointed to his left bicep which that was bleeding out

Peter webbed it to stop the bleeding

which only made it hurt more giving peter a hiss

I don't think he could've taken it Peter said

your still on that theory that thing just opened  the container and left on its own Ned said as he stole a pickle from the jar

think about it Ned Peter said with his mouth full of food but it came out muffled

this thing is alien an actual living thing we both saw how it reacted to the image of the mask I think it recognized it and if the symbiote actually needs a host to survive then I think that's why it escaped Peter said

then why did Ferguson disappear then Ned said

Peter didn't reply because he didn't have the answer to Ned's question he had thought about it I mean ever since he tried to contact Dr.Ferguson the night the symbiote was gone

Maybe he's scared Peter said in a guess

with that thing on the loose, I think we  should be Ned said

they stayed silent as they continued to watch the news

Meanwhile MJ

she was organizing the shelves of the books putting them in the correct order

after she was done with that she took a break to read her book on the beanbag chair

how to kill a mocking bird which she didn't get to read yet

but it's popular so why not read it

she was sitting there reading

hey Taylor I heard there was recently a new employee here and its someone from school who is it Brad said

Michelle is the new hire im guessing you guys know each other right since you guys are friends  and go to the same school together Taylor said with Glee

Michelle rolled her eyes continuing to reading  her book acting invisible to it

she knew how brad was giving her a hard time I mean they could start over and start a fresh start right

I mean she was unsure of how he treated peter and despised  him 

and peter despised brad as well

Brad sits next to her

Michelle backs away from him as she read her book

look im sorry for the way I was acting the last time we saw each other I changed this time so you work here now too  Brad said

yeah I do and you're are forgiven I guess but if you're lying that im no longer forgiving you understand  she said with her eyes on the book with a bit of a stern look on her face

We're friends but you have to apologize to Peter as well MJ said

I rather not deal with the rivalry between you two MJ said

yeah I get it Brad said

No problem Brad said

What are you doing here if you don't mind me asking MJ said

My grandmother works here like this is her library  Brad said

Oh ok good for you MJ said

So im not asking you out or anything like that it's completely platonic but you wanna grab lunch together as friends Brad said

Thanks but no thanks im already going with someone MJ said

Ok then good luck Brad said

Brad left to see who it was that entered the library

It was none other than Peter of course that coffee guy that somehow got Michelle to like him
He's shallow he's lame and he's just not cool or good-looking

I mean she's dating him cause she's sorry for him

I mean I'm sure they're not dating anymore there friends now and he can Michelle all to myself Brad thought to himself
