what you doing here Peter Brad said in a soft tone

Umm I'm here to pick up someone Peter said

You mean you're mom Brad said in a jokily matter

My mom's dead Peter said in a causal tone

Oh im sorry I didn't know that Brad said guiltily

It's fine I will just get going Peter said casually as he walked away

I mean he's confused

I mean is Brad being nice to him why does have a change of heart

or maybe he hasn't done anything to despise him

I mean other than the fact he tripped him once and called him mean names but I think he is trying to make up for it and changing his thought to himself

As he was walking Brad stopped him and said hey Peter wait up

Ok sure Peter said

I know this might seem like none of my business but what do mean see someone Brad said

Um my girlfriend Peter said

Whoever this poor soul I don't think she is here Brad said jokingly

please tell me he isn't talking about MJ he thought I mean who else he is going to be seeing I mean there is no way they're still together that's impossible, not believable for a second

I mean Peter out of all guys has girls all over him but not MJ the one girl he can't have he likes

He is attracted to maybe it's the fact she is playing so hard to get or she is complex and different not like those other girls that like him or make it obvious

She knows how to keep that act good I mean she is dating him to get him jealous which is working by the way

Brad thought to himself

As he did he saw Peter leave talking to MJ

Are you ready to get lunch Peter said

Yeah sure Michelle said

They were holding hands as they were walking together

This can't be there still together how Brad thought to himself

I will be back she said as she left with Peter to get lunch

Peter and MJ go to a nearby burger shack together

while Peter orders two cheeseburgers and three french fries and a milkshake and apple pie to go with it

Michelle just orders a burger and a fry meal with some sprite

they get their food and sit down together with MJ asking where do does all the food go she asked peter

I gotta keep up my energy when I go on patrols Peter said with a shrug

Oh I see spiderman has a big ol fat ass MJ said laughing

well your not wrong Peter said as he laughed

do you know Brad worked here Peter said

No, I didn't I mean if I did I would still take the job his grandmother works at that place so he helps out from time to time MJ said

god that's even worse Peter said

Aww peter are you Jealous MJ said

maybe I don't know a part of me just doesn't trust him around you I mean he was nice to me but still, I just have a bad feeling about this Peter said as he looked out the window

ok im sorry you feel that way but im still not quitting it I really like this New job that I have so I guess you have to deal with it MJ said

im just saying I don't like him around you ok im sorry plus you get to hang out with me and Ned you could hang out with betty she seems nice you guys seem like you get along right Peter said

Ned only leaves the house to mostly go to your house I never know what bettys doing my mom is most of the time during the day and my dad as well you saving the world so im sorry I want something to do during the day MJ said annoyed at Peter

sorry I didn't realize Peter said in a sad tone as he looks down at his hands looking ashamed

It's fine Peter let's finish eating so I can get back to work Michelle said as she signed touching his hand in a comforting matter

peter smiles a little glad to know she is not mad at him or upset at him

they finish eating in silence and walked out of the shack

while Michelle couldn't stand the tension with them anymore she stopped walking and peter turned to look at her

peter I need you to trust me ok She said softly

I do trust you it's Brad that I don't trust Peter said in a mutter

then I need you to trust me when I say nothing will happen with me and Brad yes I will be around him but its platonic okay peter she said softly with a smile as she puts her arm around his side

He won't steal me away you dork she said to him

Peter smiles as he nods to lean in and kiss her he also puts his hand on her cheek and deepens the kiss

Michelle doesn't know why she is not used to it by now something about him kissing her just makes her knees weak

Get a room Brad shouted at them

Michele goes home after the store closes Brad offers to walk her She said no and peter also offered she also declined to it but she will call him if there's trouble she told peter

it wasn't dark yet so she was fine

how was work sweetie her Mom asked her

It's okay Michelle told her mom

MJ grabbed some food and just ate silently with her mom sitting next to her breaking the silence while her dad is still at work for another hour

so tell me sweetie since your peter and are together and you are almost 18 well not yet you guys haven't done anything you know inappropriate Her Mom said as she raised a brow at her

no mom I haven't been that far yet MJ said with a lie she knows how negatively she will react to it if she said yes

she knows how she will be shamed for it and asked questions and then they might not be together anymore so she lies about it

she was taught to never lie they won't get mad they said but she knows that isn't the case for her

plus Mom all we did is kiss and hold hands that's it Michelle told her mom

oh that's the sweetest thing I ever heard thank goodness you are not doing anything serious if peter ever pressures do something you dont want to tell me understand Her Mom said

she knows that's bullshit Peter has never once forced her to do that all he asks like a gentleman I mean she knows him by now and she still makes all these assumptions about him

I mean what does have to convince them he's a good guy
