let's keep this a secret

I woke up again, I was barely able to stop myself from screaming at the sight of cheesy in my bed, that really wouldn't be the best reaction after what happened yesterday..
Actually, I didn't really know how to to react after yesterday
I could tell cheesy was slowly waking up
"H-hey, good morning Cheesy"
"Ngh.. five more minutes.."
I softly patted him on the head
"I-I'm gonna go downstairs, y-you can meet me in the main room"
"Wait! I can come with if you want"
"O-oh, well you don't h-have to, I mean, I-"
"You can stop pretending, I know you want me to come along"
"W-well yeah, maybe I do!"

We walked out the door and down the stairs and headed into the kitchen
I made two bowls of cereal
We then headed to the main area and sat on the couch

"So, uh Cheesy... We're like, official, right?"
"Yep"
"S-so do we tell the others or.. and even if we would, how would we tell the others?"
"I'm not sure, it's whatever you're comfortable with, we can tell them, keep it a secret, let them find out on their own, ect"
"Can we keep it a secret for now? I don't know, it's just that they don't know that, I mean.. I haven't exactly come out or anything and I don't know.."
"Sure, if that's what you want!"

...

"T-thanks"
"No problem, you're my boyfriend after all"
He said with a warm smile

It was true, but the thought still made me blush
I never thought it would actually happen, but here we are

After some time the room filled with people
I could see knife coming up to us "You're up early"
"Hm?"
"You guys were here before the others, so I thought.. nevermind, it is a bit odd how you guys woke up at the same time tho"

We're busted
Before I could say anything, cheesy spoke up
"Yeah, we happened to wake up at the same time, it is a bit odd tho now that I think about it"
"Oh alright, anyways, wanna hang out later?"
"Sure!"
Knife said goodbye and walked away
I looked at cheesy and whispered
"Thanks for saving us.."
"It's no problem, we did choose to keep it a secret, didn't we?"
"Yeah, I guess we did, thanks anyways"
"You're welcome"
