After a few days in Grimm's parlor, I was able to go back to the Phantomhive London manor. The triplets were clinging all over me when I came back. I chuckled as I nuzzled them before feeding them. They were drinking vigorously. I guess they liked the milk I left then and some souls but I guess it couldn't compare to fresh breast milk.
I followed them back to the Phantomhive Manor after saying goodbye to Agni and Soma. Soma was crying that he couldn't hang out with me and the triplets more. He even wanted to Ciel to stay more. I giggled as I held Tatsuya. Miyuki wanted to be with Finny and Kaname was with Ciel. Sebastian was on the outside of the coach, driving us back to the manor. He was probably pouting no doubt that his little girl didn't want him. That crow was too adorable. I softly handed Mey-Rin Tatsuya, who cooed with joy to see the glasses wearing girl.
Bard has been putting his cigarettes away when the kids were around. Well ever since I told them what tobacco and the smoke would do to their lungs. He was trying to be someone to look up to, which I thought was adorable.
I was currently following behind Ciel while the triplets were currently strapped to my back with a support blanket. They were sound asleep against my back as I followed my mate and son. I placed a soundproof barrier around the children so the rambunctious three didn't wake him up.
"Good morning." The three said. "Hope you slept well, sir."
"Good morning." Ciel replied. I could still sense that he was dispirited about what happened to me.
"Huh?" They gasped when we were making our way to the dining room.
"Master?" Finny whispered, concerned.
"Feeling down, he is." Mey-Rin frowned.
"'Fraid so." Bard sighed.
"Oh?" Tanaka asked. "How come you be so certain about that, Bardroy?"
"Well he may look the same as ever to an outsider but his servants can see the difference clear as day." Bardroy stated proudly. They all mumbled in agreement. I softly chuckled as I saw Sebastian introduce today's course. "So we'll just have to do our best to give the young master's spirits a boost!"
"That's a brilliant idea!" Mey-Rin cooed. I could hear them as Ciel ate.
"We're gonna throw him a party!" Bard suggested. I flinched, mentally choking on air.
"Party!" Finny and Mey-Rin cheered.
"Equanimity." Tanaka stated seriously.
I sighed, placing my hand to my head in the corner. I was currently working as Ciel's servant. It was the best way to keep me out in the open for Naraku to follow. Sesshomaru didn't like the idea, neither did Ryu. Inukimi was displeased that she couldn't spoil her grandchildren. Shippo and Inuyasha was with Rin to help her since she was going to pop anytime soon. Snake and Pluto were currently with me. Pluto was out back sleeping in his dog form. Snake was standing beside me. He was currently looking to me.
"What's wrong?" He whispered.
"The trio is at it again." I softly chuckled. Snake rolled his eyes before regaining his composure.
"What's equanimity?" Mey-Rin asked.
"I think it's to do with equal nimities." Bard answered, unsure himself. I placed my mouth behind my sleeve, trying to cover up my trembling lips. It was very hard to keep composure with these guys.
"I think Tanaka means we should help the Earl relax by keeping things normal." Finny stated. Well, he was kind of right.
"Oh, hey, we can do that!" Mey-Rin exclaimed. "I'll polish the manor till it gleams like new, yes I will."
