𝑴𝒐𝒎 ?

𝑪𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆

My dad and I have been spending a lot of time with each other for over 4 months now, he's so different, we actually have a lot in common.

He's such a softy, no wait he's a softy for me 😊

We've been on the road, checking out new places, different foods and let me tell you he is a phenomenal cook, I guess that's where I got my cooking skills from.

"So little one what should we do today?"

We're in this small town outside New York, I'm not sure where

"There's a carnival over there, I've never been to one before"

Nodding his head "Then let's do it"

Staring at him with wide eye "Really?"

Laughing he grabs my hand in his and walks us to the carnival

"I'll never deny you anything Cadence, you know that"

Nodding my head, he's right. I remember when I begged him to get a matching tattoos with me, he gave in right away. 

We got our fingerprints tattooed in a shape of a heart on our wrists. Cute right ?

We went bowling, went to the zoo and even got into The Neighbourhood Concert last minute, it was fucking amazing seeing them live singing all my favourite sounds

He's helping the little girl in me heal and am so grateful, we're both healing.

"We're still going to the beach after this right?" giving him my poppy eyes

"Yes, little one, I've rented out a beach house for us, now let's have some fun"

Entering the carnival

There were a lot of games like: ring toss, carnival duck , carousel, measuring test strength thingy with a hammer , Ferris wheel and a whole lot of other games

Of course, I beat my dad at everything, or is he just letting me win?

It doesn't matter I know I'm the best 😊

I really enjoyed myself I collected a lot of stuff toys and their food was amazing

"Look mom, look at how much toys she has, woooow so cool can I get some?"

"Baby I'm sorry mommy can't afford those"

Turning to see a little girl with wide eyes and her mouth hanging open

Making my way to her and her mum, kneeling down

"Hey cutie, what's your name?"

"C-carla" she mumbles hiding behind her mom

"I heard you think my toys are cool?"

Nodding her head yes

"Do you think you can keep them safe for me? Where I'm going, I don't want them to get wet"

Her face lits up

"YESSS !!!!" she screams

Passing her the toys

"Here mama, hold this and this and this, wow I love this one mama"

Turing to face me "What's that on your face?"

"I was in a car accident years ago and I got these" pointing to my scars

"Do they hurt?"

"Sometimes"

"Mama said kisses always make the pain go away"

Leaning in she kisses my scar on my nose

"There better?"
