One minute she was smiling and the next she's holding her neck, blood gushing out of the bullet wound, her face pales, she falls into my arms.

I shout for my men to call the ambulance

I could see the life leaving her eyes

Closing her eyes, she exhales her last breath.

"GOODDDDDDD PLEASEEEEEE NOOOO DON'T DO THIS TO ME" I scream out, tears running down my face, I pull her in closer to me rocking her, begging her to come back to me.

My men are holding me back as the paramedics try to save poppy.

They won't let me in the ambulance, so we follow them I have no energy to kill anyone tonight especially if there trying to save poppy

I'm on auto pilot, I feel numb.

Walking into the emergency room, I'm seeing everything in tunnel vision.

My men guide me to the hallway outside poppy's operating room

"She was shot in the neck, there operating on her as we speak"

Cole: "Do you know who did it?"

"Where's Jaxon?" I asked, my voice breaking

Connor: "Dad's getting him out of the car, we just rushed in here."

Cole: "Fuckkkkk, she has to survive this. We can't lose her."

Hearing the sound on my son's cooing and giggles. I take him from Christian

Jaxon just stares and smiles at me. he doesn't know his mother is fighting for her life in the room next door.

We've been standing here for a couple hours and I realize my dad isn't here yet

I'm interrupted by the doctor coming out of the operating room
