Next day
After the agreement yesterday Kimberly decided to agree to help Five and in return to help her with her memories. Kimberly was still wondering if it's the right thing to do, working with the enemy but to her state and to herself who she is, she might as well. After all the little flashbacks of her life is helpful but not enough. And what happened to the meeting of her adopted mother that proves to Kimberly that she did something to her past and she wants to know.
Now, both Five and Kimberly were walking towards Elliott's place as Five is ready to bring her to the hideout and discuss on what he find and more people to help. Five side glanced to her seeing her reaction, after he remembers what she told him at the front door late last night surprising him with the news.
" so, I'm curious, but just wondering. " Five question her, both stopped walking Five facing Kimberly in front of her. She stopped walking as well staring at him nod her head. Having a hunch on what's on his mind. Five continue, " what made you change your mind on our deal?"
Kimberly stayed quiet trying to find a answer and remember what the handler told her. Then simply replied to see his serious face, " just putting into thought about the deal and figured it's time. To look into my past, I know... I denied it long time ago. " Five stayed quiet listening to her curious why the sudden change. " I took a second thought on it. "
Five nod his head press his lips together as he listen to her response, placing his hands inside his pocket. Kimberly stared at him, raised an eyebrow at him. " why Five? Thinking I might snitched?"
" no. But since I do trust you, ish, I meet up with the handler yesterday evening. And she bring up a deal to me to bring my family back home. " Five told her, telling his input on it. He continued seeing that she's listening, " and I don't know. If she's telling the truth. "
" it's the handler Five. Do you believe her?" Kimberly stared at him, trying to tell him something.
Five look at her, paused for a moment. " I don't know. I mean both of us know we've been in the commission too long to know what she's capable of."
" true about that. " Kimberly stared at him, thinking if she should tell him the full truth but decided to wait till she read the file that AJ gave her. " you will help me on your part right? About my past. "
" you have my word. And you were always like that you know. " Five answered her, forming a smile at the small memory reopened he continued walking to the hideout. Kimberly tilt her head in confused by what he was saying.
