After the party Five decided to go to the keepers meeting after what his boss told him about the case to move on and go to a different case. But he decided that keep going, he went with a member of the group meetings. " all right, just be cool, Jerome. Anybody asks, you're with me."
Five follows him as they went inside the building, and the room. When he walked inside he saw the amount of people in the meeting. The scanned the room and immediately noticed one person he recognized in the party, letting out a scoffs. " excuse me, Larry."
Five walked towards the small group of people talking trying to catch the one person attention, " so this is book club?" Five said to Lila in a shot to vice.
Lila laughs a little bit noticing Five, she faced the people in front of her. " will you excuse me just a second?" She goes to Five. " you blow my cover, I'll rip your galls off."
" you're gonna blow my cover." Five wrote his fake name on the tag sticker.
Lila noticing his cover fit, " nice mustache, by the way. What are you supposed to be? A Greek serial killer?"
Five chuckles, " I'll have you know this is top of the line horse hair. The real question is, what are you doing here, " Nancy"?"
Lila whisper to him, " let's just say the transition from full time assassin to full time caregiver to 3 small children and one chunky husband is no picnic. I needed to get outside of the house." Five stared at her, hearing her. She continued, " I saw a sign and took a chance. It's cheaper than therapy."
Lila glanced at the people, telling Five for what she knows. " but you know, these losers might be onto something." Then they heard a guard speaking, telling them it's time for the meeting. Lila motions Five to follow her, " come on."
Five noticed two people entering the room. Completely unrecognizable, " who are they?"
" you never heard of gene and Jean? Sure you're part of the CIA right?" Lila sarcastically told him.
" just spit it out."
" okay!" Lila answered him. Then exclaimed to him, " gene and Jean started the first chapter in Clovis, New Mexico. Since then, the movement has been everywhere."
" wow. Wowie!" Jean announced. " I mean, holy shit! Pardon my French, but look at all these beautiful shinning faces. It is too much. Thank you for being here. We have a big night planned, because tonight, we will be discussing..." Jean continues, ".." The umbrella effect.".."
Both Lila and Five look at each other confused by the title.
Jean continues, " and how I believe we can return to a restored... And correct timeline. Now, what do we mean when we talk about the umbrella effect? Well, some people refer to it as " timeline sickness.".." Five raise an eyebrow by the words. Jean continues, " these artifacts from other timelines... Like the shared memories so many of us have experience, huh? "
