Remy sat at the table, doing his homework with a hum. He was peaceful for a few minutes before he heard a knock at the door.
"Lo!" He knew it would be his boyfriend appearing at his apartment, so he rushed up to open the door for him.
He hugged Logan around the waist, nuzzling into his shoulder.
Logan, face stern as always, gently patted Remy's curls.
"Hello, Rymingon. How are you?"
"I'm good now," Remy smiled brightly at the other. "I'm doing homework, and it's kinda stressing, but I'll be fine."
Logan hummed, stepping into the apartment when Remy stepped out of the way.
"Oh? Is there anything I can do to help?"
"Uhh," Remy tried to think, but he couldn't. He found himself feeling smaller now that Logan was here. "I dunno-"
Logan nodded, face still stern. "That's alright, darling." His face softened only when Remy squealed at the nickname.
"Oh! Oh!" The older bounced on his feet. "Guesh what I did e'rlier!"
"What?" He tilted his head, closing the door before following Remy to his bedroom.
"Dis!" Remy searched the room for a few moments, successfully finding a drawing. It was a semi-realistic drawing of Remy and Logan.
Remy was on a swing, while Logan stood behind him in a pushing motion. Logan smiled softly, he remembered when the photo (that Remy must have used as reference) was taken.
"Wow." He gasped softly. "This is so good, darling. Should we hang it up on your fridge?"
"Nooo!"
"No?"
"I's for you!" Remy whined, stomping his foot.
"Oh, thank you, darling. I like it very much. Now, why don't we go get a snack, hm? Maybe some angel milk? When was the last time you've ate?"
As if on cue, Remy's stomach growled. He blushed in embarrassment, and turned away from Logan.
Logan tutted softly. "Darling, I told you; one of your rules is to eat at least three meals."
"I know.." He whined, looking down. "'M sow'y."
"It's alright, darling, but don't let it happen again, hm? I know you were very busy doing your college work."
Remy smiled and nodded, grabbing onto Logan's hand as they walked to the kitchen.
He made Remy a grillled cheese, a glass of strawberry milk (with a bit of coffee froth and whipped cream on top), and some gold fish crackers. The sandwich was cut into triangles, and Logan was snacking on the cut off crust so Remy wouldn't have to eat it.
"T'ank you, daddy," Remy said as he was close to finishing. "I's reeeeeaaally good!"
"Why thank you, darling. I'm glad you like it." He pat Remy's head gently, watching as his curls bounced back up when his hand would leave his head.
"Mhm! Mhm!" He finished, kicking his feet gently underneath the table. "I 'wuv you!"
"I love you too, darling."
