The Johnson Parents Find Out

It has been a few hours since I rejected Sasha. I wasn't able to go home so I stayed at John's house in fear of seeing the disappointment on my family's faces especially Shemara's. I managed to avoid telling her the truth yesterday, but I think she has figured it out by now why her best friend was so angry.

"Man, are you going to tell me why you look like shit and why you've been acting so dull?" asks John my Beta.

"I just don't feel like going home right now" I replied.

"And why would that be?" he responds with another question.

"I.I" taking a deep breath "I rejected my mate."

"Why would you do such a thing? I thought all you've been trying to do lately is find your mate. So why would you reject them?"

"I know, I know, but my mate was Sasha."

"Sasha, as in my mate's best friend, the sweet little man Shemara goes on and on about?"

"Yeah. Wait, what do you mean your mate's best friend?"

Awkwardly scratching the back of his head, he replies sheepishly, "Well, you know how I haven't been around lately?" I nod.

"Well I went in search of my mate, but with no luck I came back and found out the reason I why  haven't had any luck was because my mate is your twin, Shemara."

Shocked at what he said, the only thing I could reply with was, "Congratulations man. Is that why they're throwing her a party? (he smiles widely in response) Then that settles it, I have no choice now but to go home. I really messed up this time didn't I?"

"I'm afraid so" John says.

"But what was I going to do? I always thought my mate was a girl, but finding out it was a guy shocked me, making me act on impulse and rejecting Sasha." I say solemnly.

"Let's just get you home, I'm sure your parents would understand, if not then know you'll always have me." Nodding at what John said, I let him lead me to my house ready to face my parents.

Upon arriving at my house I found it very busy with people moving around trying to get everything right for the party in an hour. John didn't come in because he had to get ready for the party. I made my way to the private study to find my parents and an angry Shemara. I made my way to the empty seat in front of my parents and beside my sister.

"Son"

"Father" I replied

"Shemara says there is something you need to tell us."

"I do. First of, I just want to you guys to know I'm really sorry."

"Son, stop beating around the bush and lay it down." said my mum.

"I found my mate (I see them begin to smile), but I rejected them."

"What?"

"Why the bloody hell would you do such a thing?" dad asks.

"I don't know, i got scared and panicked when i found out my mate was a male"

"You rejected your mate because he is a boy, what on earth were you thinking? After everything we've thought you. Didn't we teach you guys it was okay to have a different sexual orientation? (I nod) Then give me a pretty darn good reason why you did what you did and don't you dare tell us it was because he was a male." my mum spoke angrily with her wolf ready to snap my head for making them angry.

" He is a weak pathetic excuse for a man!" I yell back, immediately regretting it when my twin slaps me with tears threatening to fall from her eyes along with my dad saying, "You are not fit to be an Alpha, until you prove otherwise, your sister will remain the only Alpha. If you prove me wrong then you shall join her and rule together, but until then you will remain a regular pack member. Now if we're done here, I think it is time to introduce our new Alpha."

SASHA'S P.O.V

Waking up the morning after you get rejected to your best friend creepily lying beside you and staring with mere inches of space between your faces is possibly one of the most scariest things I have ever encountered. Pushing Shemara away I get up to go freshen up.

"What the hell are you doing here so early?"

"Well I missed you and plus I never got to tell you about my party, nor discuss what happened between you and my brother, so now I'm here" she laughs jumping up and down on my bed.

"I'll tell you after I freshen up, now get out" pouting, she goes downstairs to wait.

After refreshing up, I walked downstairs to see Shemara had made breakfast.

"Sit, eat and tell me everything and I mean every drop of detail."
Doing as she said, I start to recall everything telling her every drop of detail as she so nicely put it.

"I'm sorry about my brother, I love him, but sometimes he is such an wanker " says Shemara sympathetically.

"It's okay, I mean it hurt at first but now I'm okay and it's not like I fancied him or something. So what is this party about?"

"It's to celebrate me finding my mate." she replies happily.

"Is it John?" I ask

"Yes, how did you know"

"Well, he might be the future Beta but, he sucks at hiding his obvious attraction to you and so do you, plus I was hoping it was him. You look right for each other."

"Shemara, sorry for not telling you this before but I'm also a werewolf."

"Really, yay! We can now go on runs together. "

" So you are not mad?" I ask

"Why would I, I mean I would have preferred you telling me earlier but it's fine, you had your reasons. If you are a wolf, then why do you smell human?"

"That my friend is a mystery" I responded.

"Alright now let's go party baby!" she screams. Good thing my mum had a morning shift. We left in my car and to the party we went.
