[A/N - Sometimes I feel I'm writing in portuguese and I need to read again the last paragraph to be sure I'm still writing in english]
[A/N 2 - I'm afraid sometime in the future or even now I'll say 'Yuki' instead of 'Dante' because I'm still transitioning from my first story lmao]

The rest of the dragons who where here for their test stepped on the symbol - who my father called bridge - one by one and began to get their dogmas. Most of Thorn's children were almost like his own clones, except the color of the eyes and some minor details, like the horns. That one blue dragoness was called Phria, and she was the oldest of Thorn's children. She ended up with the Vigor dogma.
And then, it was time for Kai - the green dragon with the black ventral side - and Ser - the green dragoness with a yellow ventral side - children. They ended up with Mana and Karma as their dogmas. After everyone was ready, Fafnir made the symbol return to its original state, and the ground healed.
"Not a single loss, huh?" He said, and gazed at everyone. "Great, now I shall return." And he dissapeared in a cloud of purple smoke. Now, it is time to my fight with Thorn. I'm not stupid, I know he won't kill me, but still, it's like you know an awnser to something, but is still afraid to awnser.
We walked outside the cave, and Kai and Ser said their goodbyes to everyone, and flew away with their children, while Thorn grabbed me and went towards a clean area. My dad, mom, siblings and Thorn's son went with us, of course, but kept their distance.
After everything was done, an bright pulsating green light emerged from the white scales of my opponent, and travelled across his body, dissapearing on the ends of his body - the snout and the tail - and then reappearing on his chest, reppeating this cycle every 15 seconds.
"Ready, Dante?" Thorn asked me, and I nodded with my head. "Just try to act like you would in a life or death situation." After that, he began to throw some rocks at me, generated from his earth mana.
The spiky rock formations shook the air arround them, like it was forcing its way through existence, and as soon as they got ready, they got lauched towards me, missing by a few inches, since I dodged them. It was hard though, but I had the brilliant idea to boost myself placing wind currents on my paws, making me faster.
However, he soon catched the rhythm of my setps, since he launched a rock that hit me with every strenght it had, making me step back and remain stunned for a few seconds, and the area where it hit me had a glowing green light for a few seconds, but soon disappeared.
"Wait, what even is my objective here?" I asked, noticing that I couldn't beat him even if he let me. He's an ancient dragon, probably thousand of years old, how could I, a two week old dragon, even scratch him? I mean, I did knock down my dad, but I made him fall, I didn't knocked him down.
"Avoid getting hit." He said, and a rock appeared again, and got thrown towards me, and as soon as I dodged it, I sensed something behind me, and so, I turned myself to my back and jumped over another rock of his.
But I was too slow, and another rock hit me, however, this time the rock went from below me, hitting right in the middle of my belly, making me spit out some blood. I gazed at Thorn, who was looking at me, I then gazed at my father, and he just nodded.
Okay, if I'm going to lose this fight, it is better to lose it while still trying, instead of just giving up. I don't know how I'll use my knowledge dogma, but that isn't important, I still have mana. I tried to gather more mana into my claws, but one of Thorn's attack hit me while I was doing so, dissipating the condensed mana and disconcentrating me.
