Seeing Y/n come out of her house almost crying yet I couldn't tell if it was that or the redness on her face from the cold. I knew it wasn't something good. She took longer than expected after she texted me about her cat. I could see her wiping something off her face. Somethings up. Shit, I'm not good at comforting.
She opened the car door and just sat there in silence, staring through the window trying to find something to focus on to distract from whatever happened before.
I didn't know what to say, I couldn't think of anything to say that could be comforting to her, that wouldn't make things awkward. We wouldn't say anything for most of the ride.
