impossible

i imagine a place so bright, so
melodic when you arrive.
peaceful oasis, perpetual serenity;
only if it could be so.
silence instead overtakes my heart,
soulless songs break away and
i simply fall victim to your
broken harmonies.
love me as i am, i say; i beg.
even if just for one short second.
