Angels Like You// Taekook

Chapter 24

« Hey » Jungkook walked in the kitchen with his little bit messy hair.

Today is the first day he's awake after Taehyung.

Normally, he would've been the first one to wake up between the two of them and he should also be the one who cook them breakfast.

« Good morning! Slept well? » The Omega gently asked, focus not on Jungkook though, since he's busy with the frying pan.

« Yeah. You're awake before me. Sorry, I overslept! » Jungkook pointed out, sniffing the air and loving how sweet Taehyung's scent has become today.

Well, the Omega smell good but today, he smells even more heavenly than before. Now, the Omega smells milky and sweeter than ever.

« You don't have to be sorry! I know you needed to sleep. That's why I woke up to make us breakfast! » Taehyung finally turned his head to Jungkook's direction to give him a warm smile.

Once the breakfast was ready, he placed Jungkook's part in front of the younger.

« Coffee? » Jungkook asked and Taehyung rushed to make him one. « Thanks for the breakfast! You're the best! » he added, grateful that Taehyung's looking after him and offered to take care of him when he was in his worst mood.

Normally, he would've slept around and let alcohol deal with his problems especially family ones but having Taehyung take care of him so good is something he never knew he needed the most.

He may not be in love with Taehyung but he's sure the Omega and their unborn babies already have a special place in his heart. Now, he's more than excited to welcome the babies and try his best to be the father they deserve.

« Don't sweat it! » Taehyung shrugged off « Here's the coffee for daddy! » he softly said, placing the cup of black coffee in front of Jungkook.

« What? » Jungkook's heart missed a beat. He looked up at the Omega and Taehyung simply showed his boxy grin and Jungkook's sure he felt something inside of him melting from the cuteness overload.

« Daddy! I like calling you that. Since we're going to be parents, you should get used to it » Taehyung excitedly said with a clap of his hands.

Being referred as a father, as a parent is something Jungkook would've never excepted to make him so happy. All his worries vanished away and once again, it's all thanks to Taehyung and their babies.

« I fell like I'm going to be finally happy! Having a family for myself! I used to be jealous of the kids in my kindergarten, they had their parents dropping them off school and picking them while I only had my mom but sometimes she was busy so a babysitter would do the job" Jungkook blurted out, suddenly remembering the emptiness he felt until now, how he felt alone with a mother who loves him but yet was a bit too harsh on him, almost selfish.

"Jungkook-I didn't..."

"I'll never let my kids experience that, Taehyung. I'll drop them off school everyday and welcome them once they come back. I'll be in their lives and I'll spoil them with all my love. I won't let anyone hurt them. I don't care if my mom is against it. She and her selfish reason can go away. I'll chose my happiness over hers for once!"

Jungkook didn't intend to confess but something inside of him pushed him to do so.

Yesterday, he fought with his mom and it was again because she acted selfishly. He knows he can't change her nor persuade her to change so he'll just drop the matter. He doesn't want her nor anyone else to destroy his peace, his little family.

"I didn't know what happened between you and your mother but I'm sure she'll come around and apologize if she upset you" Taehyung whispered and Jungkook simply nodded, not really believing that his mother will apologize but still nodding mindlessly to Taehyung's comforting words. "And I want to say that I'm proud of you. I used to think that getting pregnant by you was be the worst thing which would happen to me but now I'm one hundred percent sure that it's not. On the contrary, it's the greatest thing ever. I don't doubt the fact that you'll be a great father"
