Chapter 52

"How's it going between you and Jungkook?" Namjoon asked moments after they settled down in the master bedroom.

Namjoon instantly cleared his schedule and came to Seoul, when he got a message from Taehyung.

"You know we took a break and I can't fucking say if I regret it or not but I just miss him. We live in the same house but it's just..."

"Yeah, must be hard. You were always clingy towards him so I guess it must be a challenge for you" Namjoon emphasized quietly.

"Every time I see him, my wolf would just growl at me to go hug him or kiss him. But I'm just restraining myself because I know that he needs to learn his lessons. It's supposed to be his punishment but it feels like I'm punishing myself" Taehyung rambled out.

It's so unfair in a way because taking a break from Jungkook is so fucking difficult yet he thinks it's the best to make the businessman realize who is his real priority in life.

"Bet he didn't see this Heesung guy anymore" Namjoon pointed cautiously.

"He blocked the guy's number in front of my eyes but I don't know... I'd be done with him for good if I find out that he's still talking with him" venom was laced in Taehyung's voice as he spoke.

"I know Heesung used to love Jungkook but may I know the real reason why you hate him that much?"

The real reason?

Perhaps it should be the reasons because Taehyung has many reasons of why he hates Heesung.

For starters, Jungkook always chose Heesung over him so it's enough for him to despise the guy.

Jungkook always put Heesung first even when Taehyung was pregnant with his child.

Heesung was sick yes but Jungkook just couldn't stop himself from rescuing Heesung at every occasions, staying at the Parks, taking care of fucking Heesung and completely neglecting Taehyung's needs.

Taehyung was pregnant at that time, but now, he's no longer pregnant and if Heesung enters their life, the Omega knew that it would be the end for him.

The truth is that he's scared shitless to be thrown away after use.

Deep inside of him, Taehyung fears that Jungkook will dump him because the twins are already there, no need to act and bear with his annoying ass.

After all, the reason why Jungkook was with him was because he was pregnant.

Now, anything can happen.

This can end at any moment.

Taehyung's insecurity were already there for years but it just went into another level when Heesung's re-entered their life.

Call him pathetic but he just wants some reassurance...

"I hate him and that's it" Taehyung retorted back.

"But you told me years ago that you felt bad for him and wanted to forgive him... I don't know what changed"

"Jungkook always put him first, I know they've got some deep connection and I'm jus-"

"You're insecure" Namjoon ended his brother's sentence. "I understand you. I really do, I still recalled the time when you complained to me that Jungkook went to the Parks almost everyday. That was a dick move from him but I also understand his point, Heesung's his best friend. They've gone through ups and downs together, he knew that guy before he knew you or any of us. They've been friends since they were in diapers!"

"I know that! I know that they're super friends, okay? And I know that it's cruel of me to come in between and try to separate them but I'm just... I can't live with this! I told him to choose for good! I don't want to spend the rest of my life, getting jealous because Jungkook goes out with Heesung everyday while I'm stuck at home to take care of the twins!"
