Chapter 42

"Tae!" Jungkook exclaimed the moment Taehyung started to wake up.

He sat by Taehyung's side all night if it weren't for one of the babies waking up and he had to bottle feed them.

Thanks God, Jimin stayed the night with him at the hospital.

The latter just went home with Yoongi, minutes ago.

"You're finally awake-GOD! You scared to shit out of me!" Jungkook added, hands squeezing the Omega's.

Taehyung's head spin a little when he woke up.

He remembered everyone around him in full panick and an electric shock going through his chest.

He blacked out after that.

Where are the babies?

He did already give birth to them so they must be somewhere-healthy!

"Babies" Taehyung croaked out and Jungkook immediately knew what he meant.

"They're sleeping in the hospital's bassinets but I can ask a nurse to help me bring them here. You wanna see them?" Jungkook softly asked and Taehyung could only nod his head eagerly.

He needs to see his babies.

Jungkook smiled a little at that before stepping out of the room.

About fifteen minutes later, Jungkook and nurses were back in the room.

Jungkook was carrying a baby in pink swaddle blanket.

The nurse behind him was holding the newborn baby wrapped in the blue blanket that was inside of Taehyung's bag.

Taehyung recognized the blankets because he and Jungkook bought them when they went shopping.

A warm feeling rushed through his spine when he saw the babies.

He's already eager to hold them.

"Good morning, Taehyung-ssi! We already changed the diapers so you can keep them for a few hours. Just make sure to not forget to feed them, every three hours. I already gave some instructions to your boyfriend" The nurse reported before mentioning the other nurses to place the baby bassinets near Taehyung's hospital bed.

Jungkook carefully gave the baby in his hands to Taehyung and despite the IV attached to him, Taehyung was adamant to hold the baby for the first time.

He held the baby to his chest and let her lean there, letting out a sweet pheromone to soothe the baby.

Looking at her makes him feel so happy and proud.

It's his baby girl. His daughter.

He can't express how happy he feels.

"Let me hold him" Jungkook said to the nurse and she gave the baby to Jungkook before bowing and leaving them alone.

"Can I look at him?" Taehyung peeked with interest and Jungkook bent down to show the baby's sleeping face to Taehyung.

Taehyung smiled when he saw the baby for the first time.

He can't believe he blacked out yesterday and missed the opportunity to hold his babies right after their birth.

"They've been good. Cried a little at night but it wasn't too handful. One of the nurse and Jimin stayed up with me" Jungkook informed.

"You stayed up all night? Wow- I" Taehyung felt bittersweet.

He was happy and thankful for Jungkook for staying up all night but he can't help but think that he too should've been there.

"I should've been there" Taehyung bite.
