Chapter 35

'It's not my fault I can't be what you need!'

"You want me to call Jungkook? He's sleeping in the car... he's been waiting for you to wake up. He stayed here all night" Jimin softly asked.

Taehyung just woke up now so Jimin thought his friend would want to see Jungkook.

"I don't want to see him" Taehyung breathed out.

Yesterday, Taehyung tried to hold in the tears when Soojin told him he could've lost the babies. He tried so bad to withhold his tears but he ended up breaking down.

It was a struggle for Soojin and the other doctors to calm him down so they injected him sedative to sooth him down.

Taehyung's been an emotional castle since the day Heesung was in the picture.

He started to feel insecure because he knew Jungkook has something going on with Heesung.

Taehyung knew he can't stop Jungkook from loving another man so that's why this whole thing is even harder for him to deal with.

He can't even blame Jungkook for all of this, all he blamed is himself for having feelings for a man who doesn't and won't never reciprocate his feelings.

"What? What exactly happened between you two?" Jimin asked with curiosity. "Yoongi briefly told me you fought because Jungkook came back drunk and you waited for him all night"

"Yeah, that happened but that's not all" Taehyung sighed out. "It's more complicated. I don't want to stress over it and lose the babies. Jungkook would be mad at me if I lose the babies... and me too I'll hate myself if it happens"

"It's fine if you don't want to tell me... just so you know, I'm always here for you" Jimin said through clenched heart.

He wished to force Taehyung to tell him everything but he knew it's up to the Omega to open up to him when he's ready.

"Thanks, Jimin. I love you so much" Taehyung smiled weakly at his best friend and Jimin smiled back but unlike Taehyung's, Jimin's smile was big and genuine.

Soojin came in not long after Taehyung woke up. She administrated some medicines to the IV before telling Jin to come in.

Hoseok already went back to work so Jin, Jimin, Yoongi and Mrs Jeon were the only left in the hospital corridor.

Mrs Jeon may have hated Taehyung at first but now, she became less hateful towards the Omega.

After all, the babies Taehyung is carrying are her grandchildren and no matter how selfish she is, family has always been important for her.

Jin brought in strawberries for Taehyung and Taehyung was thankful for that.

Namjoon too called minutes later and the two siblings spent almost one hour on the phone, Mrs Kim too joined the call at some point and scolded Taehyung to be careful.

After lunch, Jungkook finally stepped in the hospital room and that's when Taehyung's scent started to spike up again.

Normally, Jungkook's presence should bring him comfort but today, it only brought him distress.

"Hey" Jungkook quietly greeted, feeling nervous when he stepped in and when he noticed the way Taehyung's scent drastically dropped, it made him feel like shit.

He fucking knew he was the reason why Taehyung's in this state.

"Jungkook... I think we better leave Taehyung for a moment. He told me he's sleepy" Jimin awkwardly stood up and tried to reach for the younger's wrist but Jungkook pulled away.
