There were cheers all around the building. She felt pride, joy, and satisfaction from her work.

It was all worth it.

'Sarah Williams starring in ___' would be everywhere, and she couldn't wait. The ribbons in her hair flew around as she bowed once more, sending off kisses to the adoring crowd.

She walked off stage and went to her dressing room, quickly removing the heavy makeup on her face. Just as she removed the last ribbon, a knock came on the door. "Who is it?" she questioned loudly.

"Ms. Williams, I have a guest for you. She says it's important." the guard said.

Sarah paused for a moment before giving an answer. "Let her in," she said. The door opened and she hadn't turned around.

"Through dangers untold, and hardships outnumbered, I have fought my way to the goblin city..." a female voice started. Sarah dropped a ribbon and quickly turned.

It couldn't be...

And it was.

Y/n was there, right in front of her. "Hello Sarah, it's been a while," she spoke. She was clearly older. Her hair was longer than the last time she saw her and her face was more mature. The dress she was wearing was beautiful. The white shimmery fabric clung to her body while she stood with her hands in front of her body. She still radiated a motherly glow.

Sarah had missed her voice so much. She stood up from her seat,  knees buckling in the process. "Y/n!" she cried out, rushing up. Y/n held her in a tight hug, laughing in the process.

"Look at you! You did amazing." she complimented the young woman. Sarah felt a tug at the bottom of her dress. She looked down and saw a small child with wispy blonde hair and e/c eyes.

"Miss, I like your acting..." the child told her. Sarah felt her heart grow warm from the compliment.

"Thank you." she smiled at the kid. Y/n held out a bouquet of roses up to Sarah, which she had taken gratefully.

Y/n then handed her a box, which Sarah didn't question about. "And this is for Toby, I think a boy his age would enjoy it," she said with a smile.

Sarah felt herself growing tired from the excitement. "Yeah, I think he will." she agreed. A knock rang through the room and the women turned to the door.

From the outside, Sarah saw a familiar man looking at them. Y/n's child quickly ran up to him, arms going up in a grabbing motion. "Daddy!" they cried out.

Sarah stared at the beautiful man in shock. This was Y/n's husband? He picked up the child and held them in his arms "Oh, Jareth, I thought you were going to wait at the entrance?" Y/n questioned him.

He grinned, walking closer to Y/n. "I was, but I just had to meet Miss Williams since you have talked about her so much," he spoke, his voice was so smooth yet... familiar.

"I'm sorry, do I know you? I feel like I've met you before." Sarah asked, feeling his familiar presence in her room.

Before he could speak, Y/n spoke up. Almost in a rushed way. "Well, we met a few months after I left. He was a singer in a little band. I think he's performed around here before." she explained. Sarah nodded at the explanation, feeling like it worked the best.

"Yeah, I must've seen you around then." she agreed.

Jareth nodded along with, his eyes shifting between Y/n and Sarah. "That might just be so. But it is an honor to meet you, Miss Williams." he extended his arm out to shake it. Sarah quickly returned it, feeling weirded out by the couple's interaction.

Before anything could happen, C/n let out a drawn-out yawn and rested their head on Jareth's shoulder. "Oh, I hate to end our reunion, but it seems like the little one is all tuckered out." Y/n put her hand on C/n's back, rubbing it gently.

Sarah would've said no to that, but she had to understand that this was reality. Y/n had a family and that was her priority at the moment. Y/n put her arms around her in one last hug, squeezing her tightly. "I promise I'll see you again. This was nice," she whispered before letting go.

Sarah just watched in silence as the three left. She waved slowly at the child that waved at her.

While walking away with a sleeping child, Y/n looked up at her husband who smirked. "Oh don't give me that look. You know I said to let us talk for a bit. Alone I might add." she rolled her eyes to the other side.

Jareth snorted slightly. "I thought it added excitement to it all. You shouldn't question my ways darling." he made her annoyance go away as fast as it had come.

"Alright, let's just get home. My heels are killing me and I need some sleep." Y/n leaned into Jareth's side while they walked down a dark alleyway. He kissed her head gently in response.

Those who had passed by didn't take any notice when the three didn't come out after a flashing light came from the inside.

And that is it, everyone. I hoped you enjoyed it. If you want to click off you can, but there will be a note posted in the next chapter.
