Karan looks at his wife who's sitting beside him with a confused expression craved on her beautiful face, his babydoll. Her chin resting on her knees that's resting between his legs and her head against his shoulder as she foucses on the people on screen.
Rakhi: bilkul nahi ! Thum dono ko akele karne he nahi doge.
Ru: kya mumma ?
Ru who just now entered the face time call questions their mumma. Before someone could say anything dadi interrupts.
Dadi : bache, aur kya ?
Karan's and Preeta's eyes go wide and mouths hang open in shock just like everyone's who on the screen, and yell a shocked "what !!??" at the same time.
Dadi on the other side looks shocked now. Seeing the mass reaction of everyone. She pushes her specs upward and frowns coming too closer to the camera.
Dadi: kya hua ?
Mahesh: chee...mummy ji kya kya bath kar rahe ho aap ?
Rakhi shakes her head trying to get out of those words. Leaving a sigh she looks beside her, at her mother in law.
Rakhi: bhagwan, mummy ji apko kya hua ? Woh log... Kya mummy ji !
Rakhi says fully distressed by the words Dadi let out.
dadi looks at herself touching her chest with both her hands.
Dadi: mujhe ? Mujhe kya hua ? Kuch nahi !
She shrugs her shoulder just like their cool dadi and shakes her head.
Srishti: yeh log bache humare samne kyu banaoege ? Doll thodi hain !
Srishti says from one corner of screen munching on some chips. Dadi's eyes almost fall out of socket hearing her. Bestt, she was the one who started this and now...
Dadi: kyaaaa ? Bhagwan !!
Dadi shouts this time everyone looks at her wierdly. She keeps hand on her heart looking at everyone with a look.
Dadi: thum sab kya bol rahe ho ?
Ru: wahi jo aap sabne shuru ki thi...
Ru smiles fondly to the screen and leans in closer towards the screen raising her eyebrows.
Ruhani: you guys planning baby, huh ?
She whispers into the screen as if the other in the call were deaf. Srishti bursts laughing and Preeta shakes her head chuckling, Karan, leans his head in defeat on top of her's.
Karan: our family is crazy, right ?
He whispers into her ears and his arms goes behind her head resting on the headrest of the sofa.
Preeta tilts her head and looks at him with a soft beautiful smile , that makes his heart sour.
Preeta: they are, but we are a part of it too, and that's beautiful.
Karan kisses her head and hums in agreement leaving a soft sigh of comfort.
Srishti: Ru, thu pee ke aye hain? In logo ke baby, pehle in dono ko bade hone do. Dho minute pehle bhi lad rahe the. Kis bath pe tha, papa?
Mahesh laughs and points his finger.
Mahesh: kaun kis side pe baite, the most serious issue of their life.
