Chapter 9: Marry Me?

Louise

I miss Rudy. I wish I had never dated him. I wish we were kids again, best friends, no deep feelings.

Did I ever love Rudy? Yes, I still do, but not the way he wants me to love him. I love him like a brother, always have.

Do I love Logan? Yes, always have, even when we were kids tormenting the hell out of eachother.

Can I see a future with Logan? That is the million dollar question.

Suddenly my phone rang, snapping me back into reality. It was Rudy. I ignored it.

My phone lit up with a text.

Rudy: did you really just send me to voice-mail?

Me: I have nothing to say to you.

Rudy: come on...plz?

Before I could answer there was a knock on my door. "Who the hell is it?" I yelled.

The door opened and Tina stood there. "Louise...I think Rudy wants to talk."

"How the hell do you know that?"

"Well, he's sitting outside the door of the resturant, yelling at his phone." Tina pointed out the window.

I sighed as I got out of bed and grabbed the thickest book I have. Tina watched me as I walked to the window before I could throw it she said "uh...Louise? What are you doing?"

"Oh nothing." I dropped the book right above Rudy's head.

"OUCH!" Rudy yelled.

"GO AWAY RUDY!" I yelled down at him.

"Only after you speak with me." He called back to me.

I sighed as I grabbed my robe. I tied it tightly then made my way down the steps, Tina following me.

"Be nice Louise." Tina said as she slipped by me and went out the ally door.

I opened the door as I rolled my eyes "what Rudes?"

Rudy was on his knees, he looked up at me "Louise, will you..."

I cut him off "not kick your ass? I don't know..."

"Marry me?" Rudy ignored my comment.

Logan

I heard those words...marry Rudy? Does Louise want him? I've never felt this pain I feel now in my heart. I wished that was me, on my knees with a ring in my hand. Staring into Louise gorgeous eyes.

Suddenly Louise's screaming cut into my thought "HOW COULD YOU EVEN ASK ME THIS? I TOLD YOU I DONT LOVE YOU LIKE THAT! I LOVE YOU LIKA A DAMN BROTHER!"

Louise slammed the door on Rudy's face as she yelled "I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN! IF YOU CANT JUST BE MY FRIEND YOU CANT BE ANYTHING TO ME!"

I could hear a Crack in her voice, she was holding back from crying. I texted her to let me in as I ran to the door, pushing past Rudy.

The door opened and I shut it fast, grabbing Louise into a bear hug. I didn't say anything. I just let her cried into my chest as I held her.
