Louise
The rest of my day went by fast, probably because I was excited. When 4 o'clock came around I asked my father, "um...would you be upset if I left?"
"Um...yes? It's going to get busy Sweet Pea." He answered.
"What if...hear me out...Zeke helped you tonight?"
"Louise...you can't just bail....wait...Zeke?"
I know my Father has a man crush on Zeke and his perfect palate. "Yes. Zeke."
Before Father could answer Zeke walked in, "Yo Louise, got your text. Tina said it's ok this one time, but if your date goes well I can't fill in all the time."
Dad's eyes got wide, "Date? With who? Rudy?"
I sighed "No Father. I will never date Rudy again. He's...like...a brother." I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, "Logan..."
"LOGAN?!" Both dad and Zeke yelled out at the same time.
"Yes, Logan. Now I need to get ready." I ran out of the resturant and up the stairs to the apartment.
Logan
I stared at myself in the mirror before saying outloud "Damn I look good. Four Ears is going to fall in love with me tonight." My suit, which I have only worn once, still fit.
What is wrong with me? I'm thinking about Louise loving me. Do I...do I love her? Has Hell frozen over? What if...what if I've loved her all along?
My phone buzzed. I took it out or my phone and read the text.
Four Ears: I'll be ready soon.
Me: Great I'm almost ready too. I need to stop at two places before I get there so I'm about to leave.
Four Ears: ok see you soon Loggy Bear <3
I smiled as I walked out the door. Getting into my car I noticed I looked like an idiot with how big my smile was.
"Logan you're an idiot. A complete idiot...who is in love." I spoke to myself as I started the car and drove.
My first stop was the grocery store. I grabbed some sandwiches, strawberries and wine. After paying I went next door to grab some flowers from a place my dad told me about. I know Louise would hate roses so I settled on a bouquet of daisys..
Once I made back to my car I drove straight to her house. After parking the car I made my way to the door. Taking a deep breath I rang the doorbell.
I heard footsteps coming run down the steps, I figured it was Louise so I held the flowers out. When the door opened Linda squealed "ohhhhh Logan! You shouldn't have!"
Louise was standing at the top of the steps "Mom, I'm pretty sure those are for me, but I'll let you put them in water."
Louise walked down the steps slowly. My eyes lit up as I watched her. She was beautiful in her green, short dress. She filled the dress so well.
"Thank you Loggy." Louise smiled, "you look handsome."
I took her hand and helped her through the door. "You look gorgeous. I'm so lucky."
"Hell yeah you are."
