the doorbell rings, and i already know who it is. i get up from my chair, straighten out my skirt and hurry over to the front door. i open the door to reveal a tall lanky blonde dude, with a badass lipring and some ripped jeans.

he was literally towering over me, his legs that probably go on forever. i glance at him from his feet to his quiff with a snapback covering it, as he gives me a small smirk.

"checking me out?" he says, a thick Australian accent filling my ears.

"um, no, sorry. i'm evelyn." i say politely, letting him in.

"and i don't care." he says as he takes a seat on the couch.

his rudeness catches me off guard as he takes his phone out and starts scrolling on whatever app that is.

"can we make this quick. i don't really want to do this," he sighs, closing his phone and putting it back into his pocket.

"okay, whatever your name is because you decided not to tell me," i scowl.

"come to the study room, im not tutoring you in the living room." i say and get up and walk to the study room, i hear faint footsteps and a quiet groan following behind me.

i open the door and take a seat on the desk and he takes a seat beside me.

"so, i heard you were lacking in math." i say quietly, pulling out a bunch of supplies and pencils.

"yeah, whatever." he says and rolls his eyes, picking at his fingertips.

"well, okay, first of all, Hemmings. you can't be rude to me and expect kindness back. so if you want this to work, you have to be kind to me and stop being such a douchebag." i stare intently into his blue piercing eyes.

"you know what," he stands up and goes to my side and leans down to my ears, "this will never work if you don't do the things i want." he whispers into my ear and gets back up to his level and walks out the door.
