It's a beautiful morning. The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, and the grass is greener than ever!
Grayson: *Yawns and stretches* Morning already, huh? I must have knocked out pretty quick. Last night was pretty tough, though. I wonder what happened to those people? I can't shake this strange feeling off. Maybe getting the day started will help.
Grayson gets up and gets dressed and heads downstairs for some cereal
Grayson: Still can't stop thinking about it! Maybe reading the news will help. Maybe it was found out what happened to those people!
Grayson feels a Glimmer of hope as he rushes outside to retrieve the daily newspaper from his mailbox
He takes it inside and reads it, but only feels worse...
Grayson: What?! 4 more campers missing in Red Wood Forest?! What's going on?!
Grayson starts to stress, but then he gets a phone call
Grayson: Hello?
WolfGod: Hey, Grayson! What's up?
Grayson: Oh, hey WolfGod. I'm...not great *sigh*
WolfGod: Saw the news?
Grayson: Yep.
WolfGod: Yeah, I can't figure out what's going on.
Grayson sits down in a chair and sighs, messing around with a pen on the table
Grayson: Tell me about it(Depressesed Tone)
WolfGod: Think you could take a look at it?
Grayson Sparks up
Grayson: Oh yeah for sure! I sure don't wanna wait around here as more people go missing
WolfGod: *chuckles* That's what I like about you, Legend.
Grayson smiles
Grayson: Thanks. Now, where is this "Red Wood Forest?"
WolfGod: I've marked it on your jeeps GPS. Just grab your keys and drive there. It'll take about an hour
Grayson: Copy that. On my way.
WolfGod: Wait, are you doing this alone?
Grayson: Well, yeah. I'm not gonna risk my soldiers lives for something they don't even know about. I'm sure I can handle it
WolfGod: Ok...but just know it's ok to ask for help!
Grayson: I know, but I'm sure I got this.
WolfGod: I'm sure you do too. Just keep in touch. I'd hate for something to happen to you.
Grayson: I'll be fine, Wolf. Ill call when I get there.
WolfGod: Rodger that. Take care, WolfLegend
Grayson hangs up
Grayson: Alright, where are my keys?
???: Here.
Grayson turns around to see Malaya with his keys
Grayson: Oh, hey Malaya! Didn't know you were up.
Malaya: I got up 10 minutes ago. I overheard some of your conversation. Where are you going?
Grayson wasn't sure what he wanted to say. He'd hate to see Malaya get hurt, or anyone else for that matter
Grayson: Oh uh just going for a drive
Malaya looks skeptical
Malaya: You made it sound like it was dangerous.
Grayson: Oh uh there's just a possible storm, but I'm sure I'll be fine.
Malaya: The weather today's supposed to be sunny.
Grayson: Well, there's still a possibility of a storm.
Malaya steps closer to Grayson and tilts her head
Malaya: What's going on, luv?
Grayson: Oh its nothing. Really.
Grayson takes the newspaper on the table and puts it in his back pocket
Malaya gets really suspicious
Grayson: That reminds me! Uh...Loona! Wanted to see you when you woke up to help...with...her....garden! She told me late last night. She knew I was gonna be gone so she thought you would be the next best pick!
Malaya knows somethings up
Malaya: I didn't think Loona knew me that well.
Grayson: Well, she doesn't. She thought this would be a perfect time to get to know you.
Malaya looks at Grayson and thinks for a moment, but decides to go along with it
Malaya: Well, alright.
Malaya tosses Graysons keys to him
Malaya puts her hand on Graysons shoulder
Malaya: Just remember I here when you need me
Grayson smiles
Grayson: I know, May. I'll never forget that
Malaya smiles and hugs Grayson before heading up to Loonas room
Grayson double thinks his decision, but assumes it's the right thing to keep his friends safe as he heads for the garage and gets in his car and drives off to Red Forest
Malaya arrives at Loonas door
She knocks
Loona: Come in.
Malaya pushes the door open
Loona looks up from her phone
Loona: Oh, hey May. What do you need?
Malaya(in her head): Doesn't look she expected me
Malaya: Grayson said you needed help with your garden?
Loona tilts her head
Loona: What garden? Grayson knows that's not my thing.
Malaya: Hmmm
Loona: Grayson only lies when he's trying to protect someone from something. Where is he?
Malaya: He's driving to some dangerous place I think.
Loona: Dangerous place?
???: He's probably heading to Red Wood Forest
Loona and Malaya look behind them to see Vortex, leaning against the doorway
Vortex: I saw news of 4 people going missing over there last night and I think it upset him. Then this morning 4 more people went missing. Graysons not the kind of dude that will keep letting something that happen, especially if its back to back.
Loona: That definitely sounds like him. We can't let him do this alone. We gotta go after him.
Malaya: Right.
Vortex: Let's take my car. It's the biggest and fastest.
Loona and Malaya nod and they head to Vortexs car as he grabs his keys
Vortex puts Red Forest in his GPS
Loona: We're coming, Grayson.
