Malaya and Vortex rush after Bigfoot
Their right on his tail
Bigfoot knocked over many trees to slow them down
Vortex put Malaya on his shoulder as he skillfully avoided the logs with style as they continued
Bigfoot was getting slower
He was almost out of running Stamina
Vortex puts Malaya down as they kept running
They are about to catch him when Vortex gets slung into a tree as a bug bear trap looking contraption, the same one that killed Graysons Mech, clamped shut on him
Vortex screams in pain
Malaya: Vortex!!

He falls on the ground

Bigfoot gets up and growls, bit then he is once again hit by a big blast of bullets that came from behind Vortex and May that send him flying

Standing ahead of them is Graysons Mech
Grayson: Let's finish this guy, huh?
Grayson reloads his Mechs guns

Bigfoot resists the knockback and punches back on Graysons Mech, sending him flying

Graysons Mech jumps up and extends its robotic arm to firmly grab Bigfoot and smash him on the ground

Graysons Mech punches him
Malaya kicks him
Vortex strongly strikes him
Bigfoot just keeps getting tossed around
He tries to fight back, but the three protect each other, leaving him powerless
After a little while, Bigfoot is thrown to the ground and lays motionless on the floor
Bigfoot was slain

Malaya: Yay!!!!
Vortex: Amazing work everyone!
Grayson hops out of his Mech
He's a little off balance
He lands crouched, but gets himself up
Malaya and Vortex gasp
Grayson is very bloody
Malaya: Grayson...
Grayson opens his arms
Grayson: I'm glad you guys made it
Grayson smiles
Malaya rushes to Grayson and squeezes him
Tears of joy burst from May's eyes
Malaya: I'm never letting you go again. *Sniffles and laughs* I missed you so much! I'm so glad you're ok!!!
Grayson squeezes back
Vortex hugs both of them
Vortex has a single tear running down his face
Vortex: I missed you, man. I'm glad you're here.
Grayson: Same to you, big guy. Same to you.
Vortex hugs for a bit longer before letting go
Malayas still hugging Grayson though😊
Grayson: Uh, May?
Malaya: 5 more minutes😊
Grayson sighs with relief
Grayson: Of course.
Malaya hugs Grayson for just as long as she said and then let's go.
Vortex: Gray, Loona....Uh
Grayson puts his metal hand on Vortexs shoulder
Grayson: I know. I saw.
Vortex nods
Grayson: Vortex, go get her body so we can revive her back at the base. We'll meet you at the car.
Vortex salutes Grayson and heads back to retrieve Loona while Grayson and Malaya walk back to the car
Malaya: Hey, Gray?
Grayson: Yeah?
Malaya: What.....happened to you?
Grayson: It looks a lot worse than it is *chuckles* Basically, he threw me off that cliff over there...
Grayson points to the direction the cliff was
You could just barely see it through all the trees
Grayson: I was falling really far down, but that gave time cling onto the rocky wall with my metal claws to slow my fall, which worked until parts of the wall began to break so I still fell a little bit, getting all scraped and scratched up by all the rocks. There were rabid animals down there like Bears and Wolves. I don't know what was up with them but they weren't regular animals. Probably has something to do with this place but I took care of them.
Grayson points to certain scars on his face and body
Grayson: They got me here and there, but I still survived and found a way back to the surface. My Mech can rebuild itself, but I wanted to get back in the fight as quick as possible to decrease casualties, so I started working on it. After I got it fixed, that was when you guys lost Loona. I saw you two run after him and I followed, and you know the rest from there.
Malaya: Incredible
Grayson chuckles
Malaya puts her arm around Grayson and brushes her face against his fur
Grayson and May make it back to the car along with Vortex with Loona
They drive off and heal Loona back at the base, where Loona is very happy to see Grayson. Our heroes partied with the rest of the team, and continued living their awesome lives. Well, until they found out a year later Bigfoot was alive, but that's an adventure for another time.
