Chapter 4: A Big Encounter

Grayson and the group get suited up and ready to explore
Grayson gets in his Wolf Mech
Grayson: Everyone got a flashlight?
Loona, Vortex, and Malaya pull out their flashlights
Grayson: Alright cool. Let's move
The group walk down the mountain and explores the forest
It's almost completely black outside
Loona: This really feels like a horror game
Grayson: Yeah, but at least we're strapped😎
Vortex: You got that right, man.
Malaya: I don't remember seeing a horror game where you have a best friend in a Mech
The group laughs
Grayson: Well, we don't wanna be like the other horror games. For once, the main characters can actually do something to the monster.
Loona: I still don't believe we're going up against Bigfoot.
Malaya: Wonder what he looks like? You think he's strong?
Vortex: Not as strong as Grayson
Grayson: For sure. I'm thinking Bigfoots like 7 feet tall
Loona: That sounds reasonable
Grayson: He really shouldn't be able to touch me, but maybe Bigfoots got some tricks with him. We don't know how smart he is.
Malaya: Smart enough to make 8 people missing
Vortex: True. We gotta stay on guard
Loona: What's that up ahead?
The group stops and shines their light straight ahead of them.
Grayson: Looks like a village or something. Maybe some of the people are here.
The group nods and heads into the village
Grayson(calling out): Hello?
Vortex(calling out): Anyone here?
Malaya(calling out): We're here to help!
Loona: Place is like a ghost town
Grayson: Hmmm. Vortex come with me. We should search these houses. We'll search the ones on the end. Malaya and Loona, you two check these one closest to you. Well meet in the middle
Loona and Malaya nod as they head in the house next to them
Grayson gets out of his Mech
Grayson and Vortex start heading over to the end of the houses when they hear Malaya scream
They rush in the house
Grayson: May! You ok?
Malaya: Body!
In front of Malaya was a very bloody body with a missing arm and leg as well as being overall very messed up
Loona: Fuck....
Vortex: Holy shit, man.
Grayson: Bigfoot really doesn't mess around
Just then, a loud, deep roar is heard outside
Malaya: Think that's him?
Grayson: Seems likely.
The group heads outside as they get ready for battle
Grayson gets back in his Wolf Mech and loads his mechs arm Cannon
Loona: I hear something big moving...
Vortex, Malaya, and Grayson: Same here
They all wait as the big and loud rustling gets closer, and closer, and...
It stopped
Grayson: What the...?
Loona: Where'd it-
Suddenly a giant Thud is heard right behind the crew, but closer to Loona
The group turns around
Everyone: BIGFOOT!!!
Bigfoot roars and punches Loona far and through a wall of a house

Bigfoot jumps up and rushes toward Vortex, smacking him into the air as he crashes back on the ground

Bigfoot goes towards Malaya, but Grayson jumps in the way with his Mech

Grayson uses Twister Smash

Bigfoot does a powerful combo on Graysons Mech before punching it, sending the Mech flying backwards

Bigfoot looks at Malaya, but before he could do anything, Vortex jumps on him and smashes him into a wooden wall of a house

Vortex is sent flying backwards

Grayson gets ready to shoot his Mechs Shotgun
Loona gets her Sniper
Malaya charges up her Electrical power
Vortex gets ready to strike
Bigfoot starts running away
Grayson: I'm going after him! You guys help Loona.
Grayson charges after Bigfoot
Malaya worries for Grayson, but assumes he'll be fine and follows orders as she heads to Loona with Vortex
Grayson chases Bigfoot awhile before stopping in the middle of the woods
Grayson: He's somewhere around here. I here him
Grayson readies up his mechs Shotgun Blaster
Suddenly, something wraps around the mechs leg, slinging it up into a tree and causing Grayson to fall out, but he lands safely on the ground
Grayson looks up to see his Mech in a giant bear trap looking contraption, crushing his Mech into pieces
Grayson: What the f-
Just then he hears a brach break on the ground near him
Grayson looks to his right and just sees a bush, until Bigfoot leaps out and tackles Grayson and flattens him on the ground

Bigfoot charges Grayson through many trees

Grayson is impaled by a branch in his chest

Grayson lands on the ground in a more open area
Grayson gets ready to fight
Before he did anything, Bigfoot grabbed him and held him up
Grayson looks down
It's a cliff
Bigfoot throws Grayson off
Grayson screams as he falls into the abyss
Bigfoot retreats
Back with the others
Malaya: Is that better, Loona?
Malaya Bandaged Loona stomach and back

Malaya looks at Vortex
Malaya: Now let's look at you
Vortex: Heh, thanks May.
Vortex puts his hand on her shoulder
Vortex: We're really lucky to have you
Malaya blushes
Malaya: Always happy to help😊 Gray was really nice to me, so now I'm just paying it forward until he gets back
Loona glances at the window with a sad feeling
Loona: He's been out there for awhile.
Vortex: Well, I'm sure he's kicking his ass
Malaya: Yeah...
Malaya grabs some more Bandages from the first aid kit they found in the beginning
The group exchange worried glances
Malaya: Bigfoot hits pretty hard
Vortex Grunts in pain
Vortex: That's for sure
Loona: Grays Mech is way bigger than him though. With that, he should be dealing massive damage to him
Vortex: Bigfoot was still able to send it flying though
The group stays in silence for awhile
Malaya: I'm sure he's fine
Malaya heals Vortex

Loona nods
Vortex: He probably chased him for awhile. Let's sleep on it and he should be back in the morning
The group agrees, feeling a bit of relief as they head off to bed and wish each other goodnight
Loona and Vortex drift off to sleep
Malaya: Hun, please be ok. For me.
Malaya falls asleep
