The green haired boy woke up the next morning just as he'd planned. Six a.m, on the couch, and ready to attempt a date with his boyfriends. As he quietly got ready to go, he couldn't help but second guess his actions. What if poly relationships really were supposed to be like how his was? Maybe he wasn't supposed to get as much attention and affection as the other two. Maybe he was the inferior one in the relationship. Maybe, he just didn't deserve as much affection as the other two.
He silently made a promise to himself as he walked out the door: If this attempt didn't work, he would accept his place in the relationship as being inferior. He would just make the other two happy from the background, and give up the adoration he craved. He wouldn't get in their way, he wouldn't try for any attention or affection, he wouldn't bother them for anything. He would just make them happier, or their lives easier, in any way he could. Without any kind of connection.

As Izuku walked up to the Sakura park, he exhaled a breath of pure nerves. He knew that this was it. It was his last chance at trying to be worthy of the relationship he craved. If he couldn't be good enough, then so be it. He walked past the playground part of the park, and into the actual Sakura trees. There were trails within the trees, but he wasn't planning on following them. He and Uraraka had stumbled on a secret place within the trees, where the Sakura were placed just right. It always looked amazing whenever moon or sunlight hit it. He was lucky that him and the brunette had found it accidentally one day while hanging out.
As he strolled up to the area they were meeting, he could already hear Uraraka at work. "Ura? Did you get here early or something?" The bubbly brunette turned around from the work she had done, obviously startled by the greenette. The boy himself was startled by the girl's appearance. She seemed hyped up on some kind of caffeine, or at least he hoped so. She was way too energetic for the morning. "Hi Deku! Yeah, I was so excited that I woke up at four this morning! So, the spot's almost set up! All we need to do now is set up your part! Deku, this is gonna be so great!" Izuku nervously chuckled at his best friend's antics, still thrown off by all the energy so early in the morning.
For the next hour, he and the energetic brunette continued working on the small spot. They didn't stop until they were finished, and even then they had to double check that everything looked good. They had finished everything up by around seven thirty in the morning, and Izuku still had to make breakfast for his boyfriends. He said a quick goodbye to Uraraka before rushing back towards the apartments. Uraraka had said something about staying out a bit longer, so he wasn't worried.
The whole way back to the apartment, the green haired boy mumbled. He mumbled over the different outcomes, chances of success, and everything in between. He was trying to use facts and patterns to predict what would happen, but he knew deep down that it would all depend on the unpredictable. Emotions and thoughts. Even he couldn't find a pattern in those.
As he approached the apartment building, he could feel himself almost start to tremble. He shouldn't have felt so scared to ask his partners a simple question, but he couldn't help it. He wanted to be good enough. With that in mind, he stalked up to building with a new slight confidence. He made his way to the elevator, not expecting to run into anyone. Especially not the bright red head he saw. "Kiri? What are you doing up at this time? I figured you would've slept in later." The red head just let out a chuckle before replying, "Hey Midobro! Yeah, I don't know why, but my body just gets used to the training schedule during the week. Even though I want to sleep in, my body wakes me up. But hey, at least I get to get some extra training in!"
