Ximena: A Multi Series

Ximena's mom came into the studio today. Great, the sister duo. If there was a number one "tag team", it would be them. She walked up to Ximena and hugged her. Ximena's mom caressed her face and her curly hair.

Dancer: Hi, Dr. Drury!

XM: Hello! Ximena, your face is flushing.

Ximena: Well, I can't help it. The two of you are in the same building with me.

XM: 习，别那么戏剧化 (Xi don't be so dramatic)

Ximena: 我不是妈妈，你们老是勾搭我! (I'm not  Mama, you guys always gang up on me!)

XM: 不对。菲奥娜和我只想给你最好的，西梅娜。(Not true. Fiona and I just want the best for you, Ximena)

Ximena: If you say so.

Their day in the studio was coming to an end.

Kate: Alright Xi, I'll text you, girl!

Ximena: Alright!

Her mother still there, she walked into her aunt's office so they could talk. Ximena knew exactly what they wanted to talk about.

Fiona: So, how'd your day go?

Ximena: It was fine, Auntie.

Fiona: It was fine today, but there will come a time where it won't be. You'll be sick, or your feet will hurt or you'll be tired. And you're already changing Ximena, even if no one can see from the outside.

Ximena: I understand that, I know and that's what comes with being pregnant. It's my kid. I will cope.

Fiona: Oh you'll cope? So when you're 8 and 9 weeks and wake up and throw up, you'll be still getting up and choreographing?

Ximena: Yes! This is what I do for a living. I'm allowed to take sick days too.

Fiona: How about Rome? What did he say? Does he even know?

Ximena: Yes, Rome knows. He was there when I took the pregnancy tests.

Fiona: How did he react?

Ximena: He was content and accepting of the idea. Maybe even more than me.

XM: He should be! She's 26, right?

Fiona: Right.

XM: And he's 30.

Ximena: The point is, I'm not a child. I can make decisions regarding my relationship. He's MY husband. Mom, you and dad gave him a blessing for God's sake!

XM: I know, it's because I had a hunch about him being with you, Ximena! And I was right! A mother always knows! Now you're pregnant and freshly married at 26!

To Ximena they were making a huge deal out of nothing. There was nothing abnormal to her about her and her husband having a child together.

Ximena: At least I'm married! We shelled out all this money for a big fancy wedding and now you say something! We have to weigh our priorities! I didn't expect to get pregnant so soon!

He did put a huge rock on Ximena's finger for their engagement and a beautiful band for their wedding.

XM: Oh you're weighing your priorities. This is a priority for you?

Her and Fiona made eye contact with each other. Ready to challenge and bend Ximena completely out of shape.

Fiona: In what way, shape or form, is being pregnant at 26, a priority for you? Why would you prioritize or want that?
