Josh's P.O.V.

I stepped back from Liz slowly wondering what kind of girl we actually kidnapped. She looked like any other teenager but I could tell she was different. There was the determination in her eyes, the way she fought when we kidnapped her, but the especially strange thing was that she went through that beating without moving an inch.

"Now then since that's over I believe you still need to introduce yourselves" she said. The guys looked at me skeptically. I was the leader after all and it's my job to make the decisions. I gave a slight nod and sighed. The guys' attention had already gone back to Liz.

"Alright, we'll tell you our names but only because you're the first girl to make it through a beating like that. My name is Josh. The two guys on my left are Zach and Andrew. Those two guys are John and Matthew," I said pointing to each of them.

"That wasn't so hard now was it?" she said. There was a cute little smirk on her face. Wait,no. She is our prisoner. There is nothing cute about her.

"Don't push your luck, Missy. Besides it was excruciatingly painful," I replied. She let out a laugh but then stopped and it looked like she was having a very important chat with her mind. Once again I gave her a strange look. I was her kidnapper and I'd been talking to her for ten minutes but she was already laughing at something I said. It wasn't even that funny. She walked over and flopped onto the couch beside me.

"Glad to see your getting comfortable," Matthew chuckled.

"Well it's not like you'll be letting me leave anytime soon so might as well get used to it," she replied. I felt a little ping in my chest but shoved away. She is just like every other girl we've kidnapped. There is no reason to feel guilty I told myself.

"Oh yes of course. You're gang leader. You can't be feeling any guilt," Liz slyly said. I shot a sharp glance at her before looking at the guys.

"Was I thinking aloud ?" I questioned. Before they could answer Liz spoke.

"Oh no. You weren't thinking aloud,"

"So..."

"So what"

"What made you say that?"

"Oh nothing,"she drawled. I was getting impatient and normally would slap her at this point but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to do it. She placed a hand to her chest in mock horror.

"You would slap me? Again?" she asked.

"How did you..."I broke off. I could tell I wasn't the only one who thought something weird was going on. The other guys had almost constipated looks on their faces. Liz broke out into loud laughter.

"Oh...my...gosh! Your guys's...faces," she gasped in between uncontrollable giggles. "OK, look, I could tell what you were thinking by the look on your face" I nodded slowly but I knew there was more to this.

"Well then how did you know I'm gang leader? I wasn't thinking about that,"I asked.

"Easy, I've been watching every single move you guys have been making. Everyone looks to you when there's a decision to be made," she informed me.

"You sly clever girl," Zach said. She chuckled before adding,"Honestly you guys underestimate me to much,"

"Ahh, well you guys we should get to bed," I said. Liz shot me a look of disbelief.

"It's nearly midnight. you woke up about an hour ago,"I laughed at her.

"So I've been here for two days!!" she said. Now it was my turn to look surprised.

"I'm not going to even ask how you know that. Let's go," I said.

"I call her tonight," John said.

"Nuh uh. She's mine,"Matthew claimed.

"Wait, I don't have to sleep in the basement?" Liz asked.

"No you don't have to and guys she's mine," I said looking at them pointedly. Liz blushed and looked up at me. I smirked, wrapped an arm around her shoulders, and walked her out of the room.
