Chapter Twenty-Six

When he was alone, Zach called a real estate agent. He informed them he wanted to buy a house. He wanted a mansion, with 5 bedrooms, six baths. He also wanted a pool, and he didn’t care about price. He would love if there was a guest house as well. He agent told him she would start looking for him. He said money is not an option. She told him she would get back with him. With that he went up to his room, and went through his wife’s things.  He noticed that she didn’t get on the computer much, other than her school stuff. After that he checked her phone, he saw where she tried to call him several times, and then she didn’t call anyone except for the day that she spoke with her brother.  Zach thought that was strange as she was a 16 year old girl, she should be talking to her friends from home or something.

After a while he called Ben in. “Ben, what can you tell me about my wife. How was she doing? Did she ever talk to anyone or what?” “Well Zach, she wasn’t doing well.  She was sick every morning for the past four weeks. She doesn’t talk to anyone, other than when she is doing her school work. She barley talks to me. And when she does talk to me, it’s about you. She was miserable.” “OK, thank you. When I get her back things will be changing. I am such a pig, and an idiot. I guess she does love me. Well I hope she does now. God, I shouldn’t have stayed gone two months should I have. Hell I have been married three months and gone for two. What am I going to do? “

With that Ben just looked at his best friend and said “dude, you learn. I pray we get her back. But the way it looks we are going to be looking for a while. These kids are really smart. Did you know that Bella and her brother won awards because they figured a way to disappear so no one can find them? If her brother is helping her, we may never find her. So you better be thinking about that. I know you don’t want to hear it, but it is true. I think it is time we call their parents and find out from them just what her brother is up to. What do you think?”

“Benevuto, you’re a genius. I will call her dad right now, thanks for that hint.” Zach went into his room and locked the door. He called his father in law to see if he knew where his wife was. “Jordan, this is Zachary, we seem to have a problem. You daughter seems to have ran away; I think her brother has helped her. Do you know where they are?”

 “Fuck, I should have called you sooner; I didn’t think my son would do this. It seems that he and his boyfriend Caden have decided to leave the family business. They both broke up with their girlfriends, took their money along with Isabella’s money and left. I didn’t think they would take her though. I am sorry I have no idea where they would have gone.  They didn’t say anything to their friends. They have been gone a month now. I am so sorry, if I hear from my son, or daughter I will let you know. But I don’t think I will. They are good at hiding. When the twins were fourteen, they decided that they didn’t want to be around their mother or I and they left. It took us six months to find them. And with my team we couldn’t find them. They finally got over being mad at us and came back home. If you can’t find them be patient, she will come back to you, she loves you.”

With that they hung up. Zach was devastated; he didn’t know what to do. But he wasn’t giving up. If he couldn’t find his wife soon, he would go on TV and beg for her to come home to him. And when she got home he would punish her for leaving him, but he would act all sweet and everything until they were alone. No one leaves Zachary, or so he though.
