"ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY-EIGHT?" Allison asks as she dries her hair with a non-nicotine smelling towel.

"Yes, and we're talking 40 years." Lydia replies. "On average that's... 4.95 a year which is..." Lydia trails off. "-actually expected. But who commemorates that with a framed number? Who does that?"

"All suicides?" Allison asks looking between Val and Lydia.

Val became distracted, tuning out Allison and Lydia's conversation. Her head felt fuzzy, she assumed it was because of the lack of sleep but it felt like her skin was on fire. This feeling was familiar to the teen, it's a result to her abilities of being an ember witch, only this time it's more heightened than it has been. "Is it hot in here to you guys?" Val asks placing a hand on the window curtain to keep a steady balance.

"Val!" Allison screeched, a look of fear painted her face and Val turned to where she was looking to find she'd set the curtain on fire.

Lydia ran to get the rooms fire extinguisher, she pulled the pin and aimed towards the flaming curtains, letting the white substance put out the fire. After a string of deep breaths Lydia and Allison both turned to Val. "What the hell was that?" Lydia asks.

"I-I don't know, I swear it wasn't on purpose." Val said holding her hands to her body.

Lydia looked as if she was going to continue to yell at Val but she paused, looking towards the wall the bed was on. "Did you hear that?" She suddenly asks.

"Hear what?" Val and Allison said in union.

Lydia seemed to be listening to something, but Allison and Val could hear nothing. Lydia slowly turned to look at the vent. She began to tremble before covering her mouth to hold in a shriek.

"What is it Lydia, what happened?" Allison asks.

"Did you hear that?"

Val's eyebrows drew together, looking between Lydia and the air vent. "Hear what?"
