Chapter two: Phones off
"You guys know the rules." Deucalion states looking at his two niece's and the twins.
"Yes you don't need to go over them again." Cindy says with an eye roll.
"And for gods sake, wear helmets. We dont need any attention on us by one of your heads splattered all over the ground." The girls mother says while applying red lipstick to her thin lips.
"Wait where are you guys going?" Val asks.
"To the hospital, we have business to attend." Axel Langston cuts in.
They all nodded before walking out towards the back of the building. Val hops on the back of Aidan's bike while Ethan's settles onto his motorcycle. Val's grip around Aidans waist was loose, she's still pissed he didn't check on her after the pack made a group effort to make her feel like shit last night. Yet she expected nothing less, there's no real reason for them to be together, they just are.
The sign of Beacon hills high, cars full of students and buses came into Val's sight. She took a deep breath before getting off the bike and heading into school, without Aidan or Ethan by her side. Val's mind was full of worry and paranoia. She walked alone into the building, noticing everyone who passed her, not missing a single detail.
The teen got her schedule from the lady at the office desk but was kicked out quickly because the principal was yelling at two men about something from the previous year. Val's focus was on a sword just lying on an office chair. Her face scrunched up in confusion before her arm was being pulled out of the office.
Val leaned against her locker, her focus was on Ethan and Aidan as they walked down the school halls like they owned the world, helmets in hand, almost identical leather jackets, she was surprised that they didn't have cool shades to go with the cliché look.
The bell rang, and she made her way to her English class. Once she walks in her attention is immediately caught by Scott McCall. The boy is glancing around the room before he finally looks at Val. A smile spreading across his face as he waved. Val waved back before trying to find a decent seat, considering the class was extremely full. As soon as she sat down her phone buzzes, In her pocket. The whole class Phones buzzed and rang.
