Y/N:
Dentists and surgery. My two biggest fears. Today I'm lucky enough to have to face them both...

I've tried to put off my wisdom teeth surgery for as long as possible, but it's gotten to the point where it hurts to eat. So, much to my disgust, I have to get them removed.

My mom took the next couple of days of work so that she could take me to and from the dentist and look after me once it's done.

Yes, I did have a meltdown this morning about the whole thing. Yes, I was being dramatic. But honestly, the fear is real.

Scarlett:
Y/N held tightly onto my hand from the moment we walked into the dentist, until the moment she was under the anaesthetic. Whilst she was having her surgery, I went to the supermarket to get some food she could eat over the next couple of days considering the options are very limited.

When I got back Y/N was only just waking up.
"Hi mama," a tired yet wide smile curls onto her lips. "Hi honey, how are you feeling?" I ask gently, taking her hand. "Am I floating?" She frowns and frantically looks around the room. "Phew!" She sighs, leaning back in her chair.

The anaesthetist giggles slightly. "It should wear off in the next hour or so," she informs me.

After bringing Y/N back to the car and putting her in the passenger seat, I had to lock the doors from the outside because every time I tried to walk around to the drivers seat she would try to get out the car and follow me.

By the time I had turned the engine on and started driving off, Y/N was already in tears. "Oh sweetheart, what's wrong?" I ask, trying to contain my laughter. "I don't have a tongue."

I giggle slightly which causes her to glare at me. "That dickhead took my tongue, why are you laughing?" She sobs. "No he didn't honey, you just can't feel it," I tell her. "YEAH BECAUSE HE TOOK IT!" She yells before breaking down again.

I pull the mirror down for her. "Look, you're tongues still there."
She looks into the mirror and opens her mouth. "Woah why do I have tissues in my mouth?" She asks fascinated. "Not tissues, gauze. And because you had you wisdom teeth taken out."

"What why?" She turns to me, her mouth still hung open. "Because you couldn't eat without crying in pain," I tell her.

"Ooo I want a thick shake!" She trails off into a completely new sentence. "I can get you a thick shake. What flavour do you want?"
"All of them!"
"You can't get all of them, just choose one," I laugh. "Umm...chocolate!" She jumps in her seat.

We pull up to Wendy's and once the woman asks to take out order, Y/N leans over the centre console and tries to speak. "Yes we would like-"
"Honey, let me speak."

She slaps my shoulder playfully and sits back down, crossing her arms over her chest with the most childish pout on her face. I shake my head, giggling before ordering our drinks.

"Fuck!" Y/N says out of now where as we wait in the drive-thru line. "What?"
"I think I'm gonna have a baby soon," she looks at me in fear. I frown, "why is that?"
"Well, because last Friday I kissed a girl at that party I went to and I haven't had my period since," she explains, wide eyed.

"Y/N, you can't get pregnant from kissing someone. Especially a girl," I chuckle. "Oh then what about my period?" She frowns. "Didn't you have your period like two weeks ago?"
"Mhm?"
"Then you're not going to have it for another two weeks."
"Oh."

When we got home, as I was helping Y/N inside, our dog comes running up to us and she screamed. "Why is there an elephant in our house?!"

I couldn't help but burst out into a fit of laughter as Colin came around the corner. "Oh, hi dude. Did you know there was an elephant in the house?" My daughter asks curiously. "He's a small one, imma pick him up," she decides trying to bend down, accidentally banging her head against the banister of the staircase.

She stands straight up with no emotion on her face before bursting out into tears. "Alright, let's get you to the couch," I sigh, walking her into the living room as she holds a hand against her forehead.

A few moments later, Colin walks in with some ice, resting it against my daughters head whilst I try to get hear to stop crying. After a while of holding her in my arms, she finally calms down and decided she wanted to watch Tangled.
