"What about me?"
Heeseung and Jay look at each other with the same expression, their bodies frozen with fear.
'Oh fuck.'
Jake stood in the doorframe, his aura bone chilling. They knew they fucked up when they saw the look on Jake's face.
Was it confusion? Anger? Resentment? Joy?
Both Heeseung and Jay couldn't even get a word out as Jake suddenly spoke.
"Don't lie to me. Why did you want to do it?"
Jay could only stare at Jake with a shameful expression. His body no longer mobile. Heeseung's eyes stuck at Jake's tear filled eyes.
"Why the fuck did you want do it Heeseung?"
Jake strides up towards Heeseung, grabbing the collar of his shirt, a look of pain covered his beautiful face as he then proceeded to yell at him.
"ANSWER ME! WHY COULDNT YOU JUST LET HIM GO! DO YOU REALISE WHAT THAT COULD'VE DONE TO ME! WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING?!"
Heeseung's eyes darken, the air suddenly thickening. He turns his head to Jay.
"Leave Jay. It's late, Sunoo might be worried about you."
For once Jay didn't hesitate, quickly getting his things and leaving the house, afraid of what could happen to him if he stayed.
Heeseung's attention is brought back to Jake as he feels the once stiff fists clenching his shirt, now trembling.
"Jake-"
"You stupid idiot.. God you're fucking stupid."
Heeseung's heart dropped hearing those words. Normally it wouldn't faze him but hearing it come out from Jake's mouth, the pain was almost unbearable.
"W-what?"
"What we're you thinking if you did it and you got caught? Did you ever think of how that would effect me? You swore to keep me safe but then you wanted to fuck around and try that? Why would you even think I want you wasting your life over someone like him??"
Heeseung furrowed his brows in confusion. "Are you mad at me for wanting to kill Sunghoon?"
"I'm mad that you were willing to throw away your life for the one you love in a way that would lead in you being taken away from me."
'Did Jake think like this the entire time? Was he always this worried about me?' Heeseung thought.
"Hyung, I'm not stupid. I knew something was going on but I never wanted to question it as I always knew that unlike Sunghoon, you would come back."
Heeseung's heart broke at Jake's words.
Jake tried to say something else, however he couldn't say anything further as he broke down again, falling into Heeseung's warm embrace as he searched for comfort.
Heeseung's holds him in his arms, not moving anywhere.
They stay like that for a while until Heeseung's gently lifts Jake up to take him to the bathroom.
Jake looks at him confused.
