"For the last time I'm not a old man!"
Nicholas nearly falls over in laughter as he watches EJ and Taki gang up on K once again.
"You're closer to your thirties than all of us. That's kinda old yknow?" EJ shrugs.
"Only 20 years till you're 50!" Taki chirps.
Jake giggles as he watches Heeseung's friends poke fun of their oldest, silently playing with Heeseung's hand and the rings on it.
"Taki does have a point tho hyung. He would've still be in his early teens when you turned 20."
K looks over in disbelief. "Not you too Jake what the hell?!"
Heeseung laughs as he sees his lover and his lifelong friend bicker like brothers.
"Heeseung, please tell your lover boy that I'm not an old man."
Heeseung looks down at Jake who's now magically managed to get a fluffy blanket around him, snuggling into it while still playing with Heeseung's hand.
'God he's adorable.'
Jake let's out a sigh. "K hyung no offence, but you're kinda old. You're already doing that old man thing where you take ages to get up after you sat down for a while, not my fault you were born in the 90s."
K's face is filled with shock as the rest of the room is filled with laughter from everyone else.
EJ giggles as he walks over to sit next to Jake, giving him a high five of approval.
Jake and EJ were the closest out of them all. J
Sure he considers Taki as a younger brother he never had along with Nicholas who's always helped him with anything and everything, even when he was just organising his shoes Nicholas gave him a hand. He was reliable and a great friend.
However EJ and him were more like childhood friends, even if they only knew each other for less than three months they had amazing chemistry. Always having the same ideas and bouncing back and forth with jokes like it was nothing.
For once in a long time, Jake could say without hesitation that he enjoyed life. Life was finally going well again.
It's been 2 months since the incident, life has gotten better overall. Everyone was living their life free of worry and without fear or pain.
Heeseung and Jake's relationship has only gotten stronger and their love for each other only deepened.
Jay and Sunoo now live with each other, definitely Jay's idea but no one mentions that. The duo now don't have to tip toe around each other giving each other flirty gazes or touches, now freely loving each other without regret or worry.
But this also means that the chance of walking in on them making out was high now.
Jake wondered about Sunghoon every now and then.
What if he wasn't so cruel?
What if he decided to change for the better? Would he and Jake have a chance for a good relationship or at least friendship?
His mind constantly filled with 'what if's surrounding Sunghoon now.
There was no love. No anger. Nothing.
If anything Jake truely wished for the small speck of hope that Sunghoon was truely just misunderstood and wasn't as bad as he truely was.
Sure Jake still had nightmares and bad days surrounding it all, but Heeseung was there to help keep him safe.
